He didn't say that 3,000 Puerto Rican's died because of Democrats. The very first line in the tweet said "3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico."

What Trump said is that when he left the island there were no more than a dozen and a half deaths.
He didn't blame any hurricane related deaths on Democrats. He said that the MSM has taken a smaller pool of the number of people who die on average every year (particularly old people) and mis-attributed it to the hurricane.
Don't die on this hill, T. This is the type of bad reporting that leaves you with no argument, and just makes people who read past the headlines even more skeptical of the blatantly left leaning MSM.

I see that once again our resident authoritarian liberaloids are harping on some theoretical thing being "destroyed" and yet ignoring the literal mountains of bodies that we've left in our wake.
AFA Puerto Rico is concerned... the administration of PR fucked the people a long time ago. The infrastructure was shit, the place was falling apart, AND it was bankrupt! It's not the job of FEMA to swoop in and fix decades of neglect and corruption, bringing everything to a spit-polished shine. If anyone is to blame I's start looking at the governor's level and work my way downward.
I've been harping about robustness (or - to use the latest buzzword - "resilience") and hardening our infrastructure against disaster for years. Also, the evils of fractional reserve banking and the idiocy of borrowing money from banks when they can just create it out of thin air, but then you have to pay it back with REAL money. Not running on a trade deficit. Well, this is what happens when your administration just runs off a cliff. But don't worry ... the USA has been doing exactly the same wrong things for decades. It'll be our turn in the barrel sooner or later.

Trump and admin and GOP "leaders obviously don't give a sh*t about PR. Will he throw out paper towels when Florence leaves? Or will he do something to make sure electric is restored quickly? Yeah, we know the answer. The least he could do is take the money Mueller got from his convicted campaign manager - $46 million - and put it toward fixing the island.
