The phrase Drain The Swamp was coined by who, in this application? Was it you? Are you the originator? Has somebody else misappropriated your catchphrase? I don't believe any of that to be true. Possibly you are the one misapplying the meaning, or contorting it.
Who was in the White House when the phrase caught on? Which White House occupant was the phrase directed at, applied to? I realize that for you, history is a fuzzy concept outside your grasp, but we will allow you to peruse algore's interwebs invention in search of the accurate answer.

And, BTW... how many years were people bitching that the economy was still bad because of GWB while Obama was selling us out to the banks and began the destruction of the US dollar while quantitative easing became a thing under his watch?
If your answer was "many years", you're correct. And you were correct to bitch about it too. GWB was the worst president we ever had because of what he did to the economy at the time, but then Obama dwarfed all of GWB's mistakes in 8 years.
If it makes you feel any better, though I may blame current economical problems on Obama, I place equal blame on the GWB administration as well.
And unlike JSF, I don't paint the current economy in a positive light. Even if things seem to be looking a little better on paper, nothing really matters anymore since we're one step away from holding monopoly money now.
The US economy is broke, and I don't think there is any way to fix it anymore.
