Americans for Prosperity, the network backed by billionaire industrialist Charles Koch, said pro-growth Democrats may also get their support.
"If you are a Democrat and stand up to [Senator] Elizabeth Warren to corral enough votes for financial reform that breaks barriers for community banks and families, you're darn right we will work with you," CEO Emily Seidel told donors.
"I don't care what initials are in front or after somebody's name," Koch told reporters.

The message is, "Do what we say, and you get our big money. If you don't, we use our big money to unseat you." Lots of moderate Republicans learned that lesson.

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said that Russia is continuing to pursue its efforts to interfere in the US political system and said President Donald Trump has "specifically directed" the US intelligence community to make countering election interference a top priority.
