Joss Whedon is about to make a return to TV.
The Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator, and The Avengers director, has an “epic” new sci-fi series that was just greenlit by HBO.
Titled The Nevers, the series is described as “an epic science fiction drama about a gang of Victorian women who find themselves with unusual abilities, relentless enemies, and a mission that might change the world.”

This is good because this story can be "R" rated, it'll give him more room to work.

Good for him. Still pushing for Girl Power despite what his despicable ex-wife did.
How's HBO's track record for seeing shows to the end and not cancelling them?

Again...HE'S the one who cheated with anything that moved, and she waited until five YEARS after the divorce to say anything. I know it's confusing, but YOU'RE the despicable one here. HE may eventually be redeemable. Try to keep that in mind, troll.

I don't mind female leads but this guy is obsessed. I'll go so far as to say it's an unhealthy obsession. Remember, his wife called him a fraud when it comes to his concerns about womens emancipation. To me It's only an excuse to keep himself surrounded with women. I think I'll pass on this one.

I’ll admit that’s the first thing that popped into my head when I read gang of Victorian women.

Just my opinion but to me the guy has a big problem and it wouldn't surprise me if the me/too movement catches up with him.

There is a long history of Feminist men who have a dark history with women.
Of course my original comment here was irony, but that went over Wishy's head.
Joss and his wife are both pigs and deserved each other. I hope their kids survive them.
He still knows how to write a story though.

He had an affair, he's NEVER been accused of sexual assault.
