lol... a bunch of brainwashed, pilled up, La Croix drinking, freeballing vegan millennials.

Shelves at mom's house proudly displaying all of their various participation trophies.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

If they are commando can they at least wear fur?

I don't know all their freaky rules.

I just get the impression that the SJW fad is the newest hippie version of the path to orgy/rapefest.

Really? That's just about the exact opposite impression I get.

When I think of SJW college campus culture I think that those are the beginnings of the sterility of the world predicted in Demolition Man. There will be plenty of "sex", just nobody actually touches each other and bodily fluids are never shared.

These people are hardly hippies. They're violent and full of hate and intolerant to anyone with views that oppose their own.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Sounds like the Occupy Movement. Which was also that year's excuse for nonstop orgies.

You obviously don't know the first thing about SJW college culture.

Nobody is going to be having orgies when any man can be accused of rape the next day and without any trial have his life completely ruined, while at the same time there is no reciprocal punishment for women for false rape allegations.

There is no such thing as "free love" in 2018.

Since Roseanne got bounced off the air for doing absolutely nothing illegal, so should Samantha Bee and Bill Maher. I realize that ain't gonna' happen, but the double standard is excruciatingly obvious.

SECOND is a troll because it constantly misrepresents what people post, fails to address their actual positions, and resorts to personal attacks when its brain isn't working (which is most of the time).

How about Keith Olberman and Jimmy Kimmel? Those disgusting pigs are with Disney.

You clearly don't understand how private business works. Or maybe you'd rather there was no such thing? Gov owned tv stations maybe?

Personally, I find all 3 to be pretty tasteless, a bit desperate for attention, and worst of all: just not that funny.

Not only is it obvious when it comes to who gets to keep their jobs and who doesn't, but the media bias is on full display when things like this happen.

Check out this CNN report on the Samantha Bee incident titled "Samantha Bee's message was right even if her word wasn't", written by a woman who no doubt would have flipped out over the use of that word if it was from a man. She would have had the same reaction if Rosanne used it too, since they're on different "sides".

https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/31/opinions/samantha-bees-message-was-righ
t-even-if-her-word-wasnt-drexler/index.html

Look at the mental gymnastics this "reporter" performs....

Quote:

Many expressed outrage — some genuine, some perhaps as a political pose -- over a bad word Samantha Bee called the President's daughter (and senior adviser) on air. In everyday polite discourse, it was, by most standards, an unacceptable word. And no question, in a week where a celebrity comedian, Roseanne Barr, loses her job over a racist tweet about a former top official in an earlier presidential administration, Bee was at best treading on tricky ground.

But Bee is not Barr — she is not spewing random and racist, anti-Semitic, conspiracy-theory views over years on Twitter, as Barr has, and often in the service of supporting the President's policies. Nor, let's be honest, are we living in a time of particularly polite discourse.

.....

Of course, all anyone really heard was "feckless c***!" The word is shocking. That was why Bee used it: to be provocative and impossible to ignore. She could have used a safer word. But these are not safe times.

.....

And, just for argument's sake, while the word "c***" is generally considered very offensive because of its strong misogynistic overtone, some literary feminists have argued that it's possibly empowering. Inga Muscio's 2002 book "C***: A Declaration of Independence," for example, traces the word back to its origins as an ancient title of respect.

Too bad drunk me didn't know that little tidbit of information when I pissed everybody off in here by calling Niki that back in the day, huh?

Quote:

It was later, naturally, taken over by men to denigrate women.

Seriously, go bounce on your monument to hypocrisy you feckless c... uh... nevermind...

"You clearly don't understand how private business works."

Roseanne was ABC's top-rated Tuesday show, and the best-rated show for ABC since 2006. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2018/03/
28/abcs-roseanne-premiere-was-the-highest-rated-sitcom-episode-in-years/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.7a9f061f756c

But ABC unilaterally decided to bounce their top money-maker after a perfectly legal tweet - because it was good business? On top of that, I thought ABC should have let the consumer decide. After all, isn't that how private business is SUPPOSED to run?

But maybe that would have been too embarrassing for the network and its propaganda. What if a bunch of censors found out that people gave Roseanne's tweets a big fat meh, and kept watching anyway.

After years of being blatantly racist, she finally got fired for being blatantly racist.

It was a crappy show, anyway. No one will miss it.

And what is an SJW? It's a made-up word no one uses, other than you neo-Nazis.

Kiki = Misleading as usual. No one disputes the legality of her tweet. Those ratings were for the premier, not the run of the show - it actually lost almost half it's viewers by the last episode of the first season. Maybe ABC saw the future wasn't so rosie? As Reaverfan pointed out, ABC - who bills itself as a family values network - decided to put ethics above money (at least in the short run - I wouldn't give them too much credit) by firing a habitual racist. Even Sean Hannity was offended by her tweet, and that's saying something. I guess ABC felt racism was not in keeping with the image they're trying to sell - crazy huh?

Kiki: "On top of that, I thought ABC should have let the consumer decide. After all, isn't that how private business is SUPPOSED to run?" I was right, you don't understand how private business works. No, consumers don't get to decide how private businesses conduct their business. Ever heard of a show called "Firefly?"
