Is your Congressman a Republican? And was this whatever you were doing Conservative? If the answer to both of these is yes then I can guess why your question wasn't asked.

Just my honest opinion.

He's a Republican that has been a huge supporter of Trump. There is no way he was going to bother answering that question.

To be fair, Illinois is totally screwed financially speaking, and there is no way of reversing that at this point. I'm pretty sure they had more important local things to discuss.

Your assessment iz 100% correct, 6.

All the questionz were pretty much from a GoP perspectiv and conserned national issuez that had local effect.

There were a few about gun control & Randy ansrd with a careful balans uv 'law abiding 2nd amendment rites and a conserned father uv 2 teenajerz'.

There were a few about helth care from peepl getting squashed by rediculous insurans billz.

There wuz 1 from a woman who sounded like she mite be a Dem, but I'v forgotten wut she asked. I only recall her sounding like she wuz supressing an angry outburst. It may hav been about gunz.

It sounded like it had started sum time befor I wuz called.

Actually, let me amend that - I'd gess 90% correct, kuz I dont think he iz a "hyooj Trump supporter".

I coud be rong, but I think he iz just a go along to get along career politician who just wants to keep hiz job az long az possible. He toez the party line wile voting and tellz hiz voterz wut they want to hear.

That may be effectively the same az being a hyooj Trump chump, but if the GoP FINALLY realizez they need to kik Trump out, my bet iz that he will go along with that. You wont be hearing hiz name on Hannity or Rachel'z show az a rebel agenst anything.

Good for Randy and good for you! Sometimes there's value in just asking the question, letting him know people are wondering.

You're probably right. I've never personally heard him speak or anything. I haven't lived in Illinois for over 12 years, so I don't really pay attention much to Illinois politics anymore.

I was pretty much going by his voting record. He tows the party line for the most part, but voted even more in favor of anything that Trump has voted for by a few percentage points (I believe it was over 95% in agreement with Trump so far).

He's certainly not a rebel though, and there would be no opposition from him if the party turned on Trump.

Mueller has evidence that Trump lawyer met in Prague with Russians during campaign, sources say

WASHINGTON - The Justice Department special counsel has evidence that Donald Trump's personal lawyer and confidant, Michael Cohen, secretly made a late-summer trip to Prague during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

Confirmation of the trip would lend credence to a retired British spy's report that Cohen strategized there with a powerful Kremlin figure about Russian meddling in the U.S. election.
It would also be one of the most significant developments thus far in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of whether the Trump campaign and the Kremlin worked together to help Trump win the presidency.
