...while they stick it to us again.
I will easily conceded that the movie would benefit from a re-scheduling to avoid being crushed by bohemoth-like franchises, but you'll never convince me that it has to be moved THAT far. Hell, move it forward three weeks, or only back a month.
Listen, I'm also a Knightie, a die-hard fan of Forever Knight, a show that was cancelled three times and twice brought back to life by sheer fan power ... and that show sucks in comparison to Firefly, not to mention that it used to be on at 2am, this was 8 years ago, etc.
I propose an e-letter writing campaign, expressing our love for the show and its movie and our rancor at this change. We can do this. It is feasible. I work from home, so I've got extra time to sit and screw around at my computer to help organize our collective voice. Even if we fail, we will at least know that we tried.
Let us do the impossible! The line forms here.

I suggest we actually do the impossible. Universal just stabbed us in the back a bit.
But if nothing else browncoats are some of the most mature, civil folks flyin.
I suggest we find out where to send notes of thanks and praise to Universal for bringing our BDH's to the big screen. Show them that we aren't the childish group who sends mass mail with misspelled four letter words in all caps with endless exclamation points. Instead we're the mature group that doesn't look a gift horse in the mouth......even when it bucks us off a few times.
Who's with me? Uh...and who knows where to send such things?

I'm with ya, Zeek. I am certainly dismayed by this turn of events, but I am still mighty pleased we're gettin' a movie at all. I think it's fine to thank them in the big picture and still politely point out we're upset by the rescheduling of the BDM.

Let's go to work people, I'm in. No force in the 'verse can stop a browncoat.

Mary,
I just sent a plea to the link posted above. I think the little "Please?" I added at the end will clinch their decision to move it back to April, don't you?
