i haven't used my xbox live in a while, is it possible to actually search for people, rather than having to see them in a game and THEN add them to friends list?

"Half-life will always be better than Halo"

Sounds to me like someone hasn't tried Halo2 on Live! ;)

*drumroll* my gamertag is... "gruesome"

I've been doing 16-player Halo2 all week since it was released. Great stuff and NO noticeable lag. (They should sell their consulting services to other game companies for their networking abilities)

Cheers,
Gruesome

Already finished Halo2 in the easy mode, and am not stepping it up. I'll likely get XBlIVE for Christmas. See y'all then!

I got to play live last weekend and will be on again this weekend. I loved it. I like the friends list and with some studying of how the system works I think the no servers list will work well, with some tweeking.

Here is a questions for techies. How could I use my wireless laptop as a router for my xbox. Right now I have to wheel out a 25ft lan cable to get my xbox online. If I could wire it through my laptop it would be helpful.

Any Ideas.

Browncoat clan sounds like a great idea.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first game (but, never played much multiplayer... my brother did, though).

But I did pick up Halo 2... at midnight even...
Still some complaints with the single-player but it IS one of the better single player games out there (Half-Life 2 might beat it out... I'll make my opinion when the price drops). But Halo has always been about multiplayer.

Look for me on Live... not on much since right now I have to physically move my cable modem, but do get on occassionally.

XBL tag: Tomanta dArture [may change to just Tomanta when my first two-month card expires].

I haven't tried X-Box live yet, but am an avid Halo junkie. I stood in line for 6 hours here in Albany for the Halo2 release at midnight madness (proud owner of the Halo2 Limited Collectors Edition) along with the Everquest2 release.

I love Co-op play, and playing an elite kicks some serious buttage. I've had 2 Halo2 parties so far. I'm hoping that a Firefly video game comes out. Maybe we should start a petition to Microsoft to make the BDG!!

Is X-Box Live worth the cost?

X-Box Live is very much worth the cost if you like multiplayer FPS. I've been playing Halo2 since it came out (way too much). My tag is Peacemaker44, look me up and say Browncoat and I'll add you to my list.

Nathan plays Halo online? Who knew...if anyone knows his tag, let me know, I wouldn't mind going a couple matches with him, just for the "I'm playing Halo with the Capt." factor.
