No... You have to wait longer for something you thought you were going to get sooner, after waiting for a long time.
Unless they change their minds again, in which case it will mean an even longer wait to get the movie, which we all were sure we'd get sooner rather than later... But... We were wrong... And stuff...
Okay, my head hurts now.
Chronologically,
zoid

Okay, okay, I know we're all pissed off or dissapointed. But we gotta turn this to our advantage.
A five month more wait means-
More time to guerilla market Serenity.
More time to convert new fans.
More time to raise money for DVD Set Donations
More time to work on costume for us costumers / cosplayers.
...and all that boils down to a better chance we get those two "successful weekends" that are needed for Universal to green light two more Serenity movies.
So, spout that explitive and then regroup yourself. Cause us fans have work to do.

It's not Whedonesque.net, its Whedonesque.com. And yep, its the sad truth.
They have a special color for actual vips that visit the site. It was him and he brought the not so good.
Kind of him to deliver the news himself. But oh so sad for us Browncoats. :(

Arrrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!
Ok moment of sheer frustration over, now back to converting more people and guerrila marketing. Let's make this the best damn September opening in history!!! Let's make them wish it had opened Memorial day Weekend.

Well, that just sucks royally. I was really planning on seeing Serenity (for the 3rd of 4th time, of course) on Episode III's opening night. And seeing it with my brother when I went home after the spring semester, too :(.
BUT... September 30th is my birthday. Fun stuff.

Can I just say how I love you guys?
Shoving your disappointment aside, and rallying to gather ever more people to make our BDM the biggest genre film opening in history?
If anyone can do it, we can. And thanks for making me feel better. A bit better. And a bit is a lot right now.
