Interesting, but I'm not sure yet.
Wow. Krasinski really kicked his action career into gear with 13 Hours.
Now he'll be Jack Ryan on TV, perhaps the best casting ever for that role. Alec and bafflack were brainless, and Harrison was a few decades older than Ryan was supposed to be. If this casting happened before bafflack, the film might still be a viable franchise. Currently bafflack working hard to wreck DC Comics.
Nothing works for DC comics in the movies man. From everything I've heard the tone of the movies in Synderverse was a lot more damaging than Bafflack ever could be. I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked the movie Daredevil back in the day. I liked it better than the first season of Daredevil on Netflix even, but the second season was better.
I know the CW/UPN/WB crowd loves a lot of the DC stuff dating all the way back to the first season of Smallville, but I can't even watch a single episode of any of that crap. It's one of the few things I disagree strongly with my bros and my Dad about.
In other news, Marvel better hope that movie fans don't suffer from Superhero Fatigue soon. Their comics are doing terrible now that they've been completely co-opted by the SJWs and nobody is buying them anymore.
Do Right, Be Right. :)

The Professor and the Madman, with Mel Gibson. Other than Sean Penn (as the Asylum Inmate, so no acting required), I really like the cast. Gibson bought the biography rights from the book in 1999. Despite the inelegant title, I'll see it and just hope Penn has little screen time.

Quote:Saw promo interviews. Jenna was freaked out all the time, working with Clint, but says he treated her very well.

Clint directing 3 real heroes playing themselves in a true story.
Bonus Jenna Fischer, plus Urkel.
Out 9 Feb.
The 3 real life heroes were not asked to appear in the film until 3 weeks before filming started.
I gotta watch this one.
This is the shortest film Clint ever directed, so maybe that's a challenge for him.

I don't know. I'm not going to pretend to know how these things typically work when we're talking dumping hundreds of millions of dollars into something that is considered a failure if it doesn't generate at least a billion dollars.
What makes you think that Snyder personally cast Bafflack, even if somebody said it was true after the fact? I wasn't there at the meeting, were you?
I wouldn't want to be in anybody's shoes when it comes to these ultra-blockbuster movies today. Sure, you're on top of the world for a minute if it works out, but they'll forget all about that the second you make a bad decision. Even if you didn't make any bad decisions but it still fails, they can just throw you under the bus. No thanks.
Do Right, Be Right. :)

Quote:The 3 heroes and Clint are on Jimmy Kimmel now. Apparently the cast is largely populated with the real life participants of the incident. The nurse, the first cop on the scene, passengers, Clint said every one of them wanted to revisit the scene on camera. Only the terrorist couldn't get out of prison.

I see Chloe Bennett is in the Musical remake of Valley Girl. Also in it is Mary Neely, who I think is the girl in the newest commercial for Big Mac, Grand Mac, Mac Jr.

It takes place on a Space Station.
That was Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the John Goodman one.
Cloverfield Paradox is a Netflix series with the same cast as the film Cloverfield God Particle. I think Paradox is out before the film. Not sure if is required to watch before the film.

More than I had thought. But this is the first re-enactment with the real life participants.

I had not heard of Annihilation until now. Out 23 February.
But the cast is a real draw for me. The premise seems promising. I might need to see it. Cast includes Star Wars alum Natalie Portland and Oscar Isaac.
