It was a visitation at her house. She was wearing a blue blouse and gray pants. Fairly tall with short gray hair.

That is a good time and place for a sighting.

I didn't scour this whole thread to see what everybody's take on the possibility of ghosts is, but it does seem to be overwhelmingly skeptical.

I believe I may have shared the story of the green light before, but did I tell you about the night my grandfather died? I actually have no recollection of this, but the way my mom told me about it gave me chills.

I was 5 years old. My parents were recently divorced, and it was late in the night. I was in the small bedroom where my brothers and I somehow all managed to sleep and my mom was in hers when the phone rang. It was my dad telling her that his dad had passed away. Shortly after my mom hung the phone up, I came into her bedroom and asked what was wrong with Grandpa and told her that he had come to say goodbye to me.

I don't know exactly it is what I believe in, but I've seen and have been a part of some really strange shit in my youth. Now that everything has become so mundane, I wish more things like that would happen to me, but I don't think I have the type of brain that is open to seeing any of it anymore.

I guess my advice to you about whether or not to share your sighting with the people who would have known the ghost is to keep it to yourself unless it continues to happen and you feel that telling somebody would make it stop. Most people you would tell something like this to are just going to look at you like you're crazy. Unless you have a close relationship with them and know that it would be taken at least somewhat seriously, I don't see any positive things that could come of sharing your encounter with them.
