I also don't see democrats standing up to the corporations - do you? Yeah, they'll give lip service to dreamers and rainbow coalitions. But where the rubber meets the road - good jobs that pay a good wage for those of us who need to work for our food - it wasn't even part of the platform.
I know, because I looked under the hood of the old beater Hillary was selling.

Well, yes I'm NOT a fan of Trump, and I am within my right to hate anyone especially if he's a bully. By the way, I don't need a reason. The darker part of myself came roaring out, I tend to do that sometimes.
But I must say it doesn't help when your 'comrades' (Kiki and especially Siggy) come out with unprovoked insults, although I'm learning to let it roll off my back. You know what I'm speaking of, you've been a recipient yourself.

Listen, my rant is not really about partisan politics, Red v. Blue. It is a commentary on the state of things to come (of course, my POV). It may have been a bit harsh, but sometimes real things in this world have bite. The commentary is about the average human in this world (people looking to live peacefully with their families and enjoy life) as opposed to those who consider themselves elite because they control the world's purse strings (still some may even think themselves special for other reasons).
Dems, as well as Repubs, are looking to maintain the status quo. They wish to keep their cushy existence, though there may be but a handful who enter looking to actually serve. So yeah, Dems are at fault as much as the Repubs for the sad state of affairs that exist in our country today. No question.
This is survival we're talking about. Yes, you hate Hilary and I hate Trump, but that is an illusion, much like religion. A mere distraction. "We" are fighting for table scraps, while the Ultra-Rich feast. Someone is playing at being 'The Wizard,' hiding behind the curtain.....Keep that in mind.

I'll bet you can't find a single "unprovoked" insult from me to anyone. OTOH, your comrades dish out insults with great regularity. Seems to me if anyone has claim to being provoked, it's me. So how about a little credit where credit is due, and a little blame where blame is due? Or is that too much to ask?
Oh, and BTW ... your little screed about scaring up nickels while the elites wipe their asses with $100 bills? I think I've been saying that at least as long as you have. So how about a little agreement, where agreement is due?
Hard to believe, but we're actually on the same side here. And it's not just me. You'll find KIKI on that non-partisan side too. YOU and KIKI and me - we've been saying the same thing. Probably SIX as well, too.

You shouldn't "hate" anybody, but that's on you. I used to have a lot of hate in my life back in the day. It's stressful as shit. Sure, I thought Obama edged out GWB as the worst president that we've possibly ever had, and for sure in my lifetime... but I don't hate either of them.
As Sigs said in the post above this one, and I've said a lot in the past, I think we all probably agree on more than we disagree on. This "Us VS Them" mentality the whole damn country seems wrapped up in isn't doing anyone any favors.
Hell... Kiki and I have gotten into swearing matches over some topics at points. Sigs and I don't always agree on things, but we've always been completely cordial in our disagreements.
I don't want to argue with you man. I know that ideologically we're quite a bit different, but I find you to be one of the more reasonable people here most times.
I don't answer to Kiki and Sigs, and they sure as hell don't answer to me. I'll never tell you to keep T and G and Wishy in check, and you don't do the same to me. Deal?

I don't hate Hillary ... well, that's not entirely true, on a personal level there's a lot of 'creepy' that comes off of her ... but politically, she's not the choice people seem to think. She's more of the same.
And when it comes to Trump, I don't like him either.
I just find myself in the position of having to criticize the Deep State and those who go along with its propaganda and deeply non-democratic soft coup. SURELY there are better - ok, worse - things to hold against Trump other than his non-existent collusion with Russia to throw the election, and his tweets.
I'm looking for something SUBSTANTIVE from the democratic party and democrats in general. Something that indicates they're willing to roll up their sleeves and work for our betterment, instead of their cushy sinecures. But all I see is subtle and not-so-subtle assistance to the Deep State in its machinations. So that democrats can ride on the greasy path the Deep State provides them, without having to make any political changes.
As a registered Democrat in a deeply blue state, I got a call from the DNCC yesterday whining for money. I refuse to give the party one cent, or vote for a democrat, until they prove to me that as a party, or individually, they get that people need an economy that works for them.

Yep, 50+ years as registered Democrats in a deeply blue state here too.
But you should be around when the Dems call and whine for $$, and hubby answers the phone. F&cking whores is one of the nicer things he's said. It's quite entertaining, on this end of the phone anyway.
I've just got progressively more and more disillusioned with the Democratic Party as time has gone on, starting with Bill Clinton and his constant licking the dicks of the elites. Hillary .... was the last straw. At that point, it had become clear that the Democratic Party was completely corrupted and had no intention whatsoever of representing ordinary Americans. So fuck 'em.

Losers and trolls. Yep, Whiners, losers and trolls. These threads are full of posts from losers who show they do not understand the issues they offer opinions on. What the ramifications of what they argue for are, or why things exist they way they do. In this case the FBI.
Their belief is that because people pick sides in politics our top law enforcement agency should be disbanded. I would remind them Mueller is Republican. That more Republicans serve at the FBI than do Democrats. That Trump gave more money to Hillary than any at the FBI.
All they accomplish is to show the rest of us that mistrust and hate fuels their opinions. That, and that some here are russian.
Disband the FBI? Add stupid to whiners and trolls as well.
