First, let me start by saying how great it was to have so many submissions this week! I had fun reading them over and over again, trying to pick a winner. Kudos to all the entrants for making this a tough one. In the end, however, I picked a submission by Succatash for a few reasons...
1) Crossover humor has a special place in my heart
(honorable mention to GreyJedi and the Braveheart quote!)
2) It was damn funny in my mind
3) I got to have fun with the image and really take it to a new level this week.
EDIT: 4) I kind of had this vision of the crew making their own entertainment, like the main characters in Reign of Fire when they did the Star Wars "play" for the kids.
Here it is in all its campy glory...
and now for this week's Caption, we have Wash and the return of Tightpants his own self...
MAL: "You're...umm...a statue!...no umm...wait...you're catatonic...cyanotic! and not respondin--responsive!...no wait...damn I hate charades..."

I love the contest, but I believe that editting the image is against the spirit of captioning. The caption was created for the original image. Dialog can be added, but I think that you should not edit it otherwise.
Also, I think it would be cool if you would post a link to all the previous Caption threads, so that we can read all the entries without searching for week old (or more) threads. They can get lost easily. :) Thanks.

(Wash and Zoe have been fighting again.)

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Honestly, not something I really intend to do, this was one of my "liberties" as being the creator, I suppose. They'll happen from time to time, and I don't know when and I don't know where.
