Top DOJ Official "Demoted" After Working With Fusion GPS To Push Trump Disinformation-Dossier
Another day, another startling revelation about operatives within the federal government who have specifically worked against the elected president, this one coming in the form of a top official at the Department of Justice being demoted after numerous “contacts” with the opposition research firm that was paid by the Clinton machine to dig up dirt on Donald Trump.
According to an exclusive Fox News report, Bruce G. Ohr held two titles at the DOJ before his demotion Wednesday morning which included associate deputy attorney general as well as director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. As associate deputy attorney general his office was “four doors” down from his boss and allowed Ohr to be directly involved in the Trump-Russia investigation.
Ohr not only met with one of the founders of Fusion GPS shortly after the election, he also met disinformation operative Christopher Steele DURING the 2016 campaign.
That’s right, yet another top government official has been exposed as directly working with anti-Trump operatives in a failed attempt at stopping him from getting elected in the first place.

Obama Appointed Judge Mysteriously Recuses Himself From Michael Flynn Case
The case against former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn has taken a strange turn, as U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras abruptly recused himself Thursday night with no explanation. Contreras is an Obama appointee who also sat on the FISA court while the Trump team was under surveillance by the Obama administration. Judge Emmet Sullivan, an Bill Clinton appointee, was randomly assigned to take over the case after Contreras' recusal.

Conservative calls to fire special prosecutor Robert Mueller are really getting crazy. The Fox News gang has gone gaga over the idea that Mueller is actually a liberal mole who’s hellbent on getting rid of Trump. Republicans in Congress are going down the same path. The news that Mueller fired an investigator who supported Hillary Clinton prompted Rep. Steve Chabot to claim that the “depths of this anti-Trump bias” on Mueller’s team was “absolutely shocking.” The Wall Street Journal insists that Mueller is “too conflicted” to lead the investigation. Rush Limbaugh believes the whole thing “is all manufactured from leaks in the deep state.”
It’s pretty obvious that conservatives are petrified of what’s coming out. They have no idea what’s coming next, but it’s starting to look like practically everyone in the Trump campaign had relationships of some kind with Russians of some kind. Their only recourse is to invent wild stories about the deep state and conflict of interest and the long arm of Hillary supporters in the FBI. As Mueller continues to tighten the noose, we can expect these attacks to get ever louder and crazier.

It looks to me like Mueller is "cleaning house" before he brings further indictments. He recently demoted Strzok http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/02/politics/fbi-agent-removed-trump-investi
gation/ over his anti-Trump texts.
It appears that another DOJ official has anti-Trump ties: Wife of Bruce Ohr, Nellie, worked for Fusion GPS. She ALSO worked for the CIA.
OF course, Mueller will probably not retract tainted evidence because of the political bias of his staff; for him there's no such thing as "fruit of the poisoned tree".

Deserving an Academy Award for the most striking imitation of a member of the old House Un-American Activities Committee was Rep. Louie Gohmert. The hard-right Texas Republican went through a roll call of investigators, name-by-name, asking Christopher Wray, the Trump-appointed FBI director, if each had shown political bias. Wray defended every one of them he knew, and wryly smiled when he was unfamiliar with one of the five names on Gohmert’s hit list.
Gohmert might as well have echoed the favored question of the congressional inquisitors of the early forties and fifties: “Are they now or have they ever been ... supporters of Hillary Clinton?” When Republicans are FBI haters who are sidetracking probes into Russian subversion, the world truly is turned upside down.
Note also the statement of Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, that if every member of Mueller’s team who was “anti-Trump” were kicked off, “I don’t know if there’d be anyone left.” The implication is that even if Mueller’s investigation produces unassailable evidence of wrongdoing by Trump, we should ignore the truth, because Mueller’s team should have been vetted to exclude anyone who had a smidgeon of doubt about the president.

Clearly, SECOND, holdovers in the FBI, DOJ, CIA etc leaked to the press. Even Morell, former Acting CIA Director, admitted in Politico that's what he encouraged people to do.
There was, he added, a downside to the security state getting "political", one which he hadn't foreseen, and that was that Trump ... when facing a bunch of leakers and backstabbers in the alphabet agencies, might come to see this as a "war" by the deep state and come to distrust his own intelligence staff.
Quote:
Glasser: Okay, so, flash-forward a year. Was that a mistake?
Morell: So, I don’t think it was a mistake. I think there were downsides to it that I didn’t think about at the time. I was concerned about what is the impact it would have on the agency, right? Very concerned about that, thought that through. But I don’t think I fully thought through the implications.
And one of the ways I’ve thought about that, Susan, is—okay, how did Donald Trump see this? Right? And from—it’s very important—one of the things we do as intelligence analysts is make sure that our guy—the president—understands the other guy. Right?
So, let’s put ourselves here in Donald Trump’s shoes. So, what does he see? Right? He sees a former director of CIA and a former director of NSA, Mike Hayden, who I have the greatest respect for, criticizing him and his policies. Right? And he could rightfully have said, “Huh, what’s going on with these intelligence guys?” Right?
Glasser: It embroiders his narrative.
Morell: Exactly. And then he sees a former acting director and deputy director of CIA criticizing him and endorsing his opponent. And then he gets his first intelligence briefing, after becoming the Republican nominee, and within 24 to 48 hours, there are leaks out of that that are critical of him and his then-national security advisor, Mike Flynn.
And so, this stuff starts to build, right? And he must have said to himself, “What is it with these intelligence guys? Are they political?” The current director at the time, John Brennan, during the campaign occasionally would push back on things that Donald Trump had said.
So, when Trump talked about the Iran nuclear deal being the worst deal in the history of American diplomacy, and he was going to tear it up on the first day—John Brennan came out publicly and said, “That would be an act of folly.” So, he sees current sitting director pushing back on him. Right?
Then he becomes president, and he’s supposed to be getting a daily brief from the moment he becomes the president-elect. Right? And he doesn’t. And within a few days, there’s leaks about how he’s not taking his briefing. So, he must have thought—right?—that,
“Who are these guys? Are these guys out to get me? Is this a political organization? Can I think about them as a political organization when I become president?”
So, I think there was a significant downside to those of us who became political in that moment. So, if I could have thought of that, would I have ended up in a different place? I don’t know. But it’s something I didn’t think about.

Appointees and staffers are dropping like flies with more revelations of the political bias infecting the FBI and DOJ.
McCabe, FBI Deputy Director, is expected to "retire" in the near future, after having been grilled by no less than three Congressional committees. McCabe was the person implicated in the "insurance policy" discussion with Peter Strzok related to Trump's possible election. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-12-23/fbi-deputy-director-mccabe-re
tiring-after-trump-insurance-policy-debacle According to Trey Gowdy, there are so many testimonial inconsistencies between McCabe and other witnesses that many more subpoenas will be issued.
Peter Strzok, the person who was heading the Trump investigation and also the Hillary investigation, was removed from the Trump investigation after anti-Trump texts with his lover, Lisa page, revealed deep anti-Trump sentiment, and possible political bias in the vigorousness of relevant investigations. It was Peter Strzok who texted about an "insurance policy" on Trump, and who changed the wording of the results of the Hillary investigation from "grossly negligent" (a crime) to "extremely careless" (a WTH? characterization)

The founder of the Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson (paid by Hillary lawyer) was promoted - by his wife, no less - as being the SOURCE of the "dossier" contents, which was written up by Glenn himself before Fusion ever existed, and apparently "laundered" by Christopher Steele for later publication.

And then, there is Comey himself, who publicly exonerated Hillary - twice- but refused to state for the public that Trump was NOT a target of investigation; and who leaked classified information.

Former DOJ Lynch, who met on the tarmac with Bill to discuss kids? vacations? during the Hillary investigation.
But, of course, the plum in the cake is WHO WROTE the affidavit which presented the "dossier" as a credible piece of "evidence" to the FISA court to obtain a warrant to justify the "unmasking" of FSA surveillance ... this brings up the whole "fruit of the poisoned tree" issue ... I expect a lot of hot-potato-tossing until some poor lower-on-the-totem-pole schmuck - possibly Strzok - doesn't have the power to toss if off to anyone else.
BIAS MUCH???
******
Of course, I'll be willing to bet that there are many, many behind-the-scenes battles which we will never see. One of the avenues of struggle seems to be around pedophilia. Large names ... Weinstein, Eric Schmidt ... appear to be leaving the game post-haste.
And the minor-but-still interesting DNC internal corruption. Not any worse than the RNC, but revealing nonetheless.

FBI Chief FOIA Officer: "Every Single Memo Comey Leaked Was Classified"
As James Comey trots around the country on his book-selling tour, tweeting bible quotes and nature scenes, a less serene series of events is playing out in Washington D.C. which suggests the former FBI Director may be in trouble over the memos he leaked to Columbia law professor Daniel Richman, allegedly detailing conversations between Comey and President Trump.
While Richman told CNN "No memo was given to me that was marked 'classified,' and James Comey told Congressional investigators he tried to "write it in such a way that I don't include anything that would trigger a classification," it appears the FBI's chief FOIA officer disagrees.
While we previously reported that Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said four of the 7 Comey memos he reviewed were "marked classified" at the "Secret" or "Confidential" level - tonight we find out that every single Comey memo was classified at the time, per Judicial Watch director of investigations Chris Farrell - who has a signed declaration from the FBI's chief FOIA officer to that effect:

SO....
The memo is just a continuation of coordinated acts against President Trump, acts which illuminate the existence of a "deep state".
What IS the "deep state"? Some prefer to call it the "persistent state" ... people who persist in government through President after President, and Congress after Congress ... whose agenda is different from our elected officials. Mostly, higher-levels in our various security agencies (DHS, DNI, NSA, CIA, FBI, DIA etc) and the affiliated State Department (joined at the hip with the CIA at our Embassies around the world, which run as CIA outposts staffed by dual-role employees).
These people are paid liars: that's their job. And since they're extremely comfortable with lying, they have stood up and lied to the American people, and have then been exposed by whistleblower after whistleblower as serial shredders of the Constitution (universal surveillance, torture, rendition, "black sites", "black ops", execution after Star Chamber proceedings, purveyors and promoters of propaganda, cyber-manipulation of our networks). Nothing they say should be taken at face value
They work in secret and are unaccountable to anyone; and any exposure of their illegal activities is beaten down with the mantra that these security agencies do important work "protecting the American people" and must never suffer from examination in a open forum. But there are "rogue elements" within the security agencies who are willing to break laws and trample the Constitution, and they're only found out AFTER THE FACT. Clearly, there is no meaningful "oversight" of these agencies by anyone, or these abuses would have been prevented.
Another aspect .... one which is usually not taken into account ... is their funding. There is $21 TRILLION missing from the Federal budget ... expenses for which there are no receipts.
And finally, a pattern persists that "wherever the CIA goes, drug production flourishes". In SE Asia, it was The Golden Triangle. ("Air America")
Quote:In South and Central America, it was the cocaine connection. Now it's the Afghan poppy fields.
The CIA Drug Connection Is as Old as the Agency By Larry Collins

One of our former posters, a really nice guy (CHRISIALL) was so disappointed that Obama turned out to be such a weenie. The only explanation that he could come up with for Obama's u-turn once he got in office was a message written on a napkin Think of your family. I'm not sure that it was that dramatic, but the deep state has had a way of continuing its agenda no matter WHO is in office and what platform they ran on.
It's not a "Democrat" or "Republican" thing. Neither party is the "bad guy". OTOH, neither party is going to be your savior either. Because of that, you should be focusing on the problem, not on the party. Pay attention to bills like the Patriot Act when they come up for vote, make note of who voted for what, and vote accordingly no matter whether a "D" or an "R" ... or something else... is after their name.
