I've got some hard, cold political facts:

Armageddon starts on the plain of Esdraelon in Northern Israel which is also described as Jezreel or the valley of Megiddo. From that single Biblical factoid, the GOP jumped to the monumental conclusion that the USA must always back Israel against the world.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hated Hillary and Obama because the Democrats would not place Israel ahead of the USA, while Trump promised he would. Netanyahu campaigned for Trump. Trump promised to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and supported Jewish settlements on the West Bank. America Second, Israel First! Palestine Never!

But Trump's Israel promises were insincere. Oh dear God! So unsurprising! It is a cold, hard political fact about all Trump's promises being insincere. You might even say "Fake Promises".

Benjamin Netanyahu is not okay with that but at least he doesn't have to deal with Hillary, who would have been even colder than Obama toward Netanyahu because of his support for Trump.

A lot of what you say suggests we are not willing to follow Israel blindly. Yeah for that. While many of our leaders faith can be traced back to the middle east, society is beginning to shed the burdens of the bible.

I disagree. The GOP has not shed the burdens of the bible. President Pence would have gone all the way with Israel. President Trump, being both a non-believer and all around crook, will say anything to get what he wants, although Trump does take care to calibrate his lies to not alienate Republican voters when he violates his promises when it is convenient and profitable for him. Yep, Pence is a bible thumper for sure. Still, Armageddon may be a step to far for even him. And Trump is not a consideration concerning his beliefs. Only that he is stupid enough to do it.

Never seemed to have that problem before now, or at least it was never noticed. As witnessed in most if not all my posts, when I quote someone I delete their signature. It shortens the post and cleans it up. Especially yours and sig's. The two of you really get carried away. It's there for all to see as they reflect back on this threads.
