Having to go to work - well my work at any rate, complete and utter chaos.
Shiny - coming home from work to find out that my daughter has decided to take up a second musical instrument at school, not satisfied with learning to play the guitar she, in her infinate wisdom, has decided to take up the BAGPIPES!

Suck: Reading the news every day and realizing very little of it is good news.
Good: That I'm blessed with a beautiful wife and will soon be an uncle for the 4th time. That I can see a child's smile and know that at least for a short time..all is well in their world.
