My brother tried to get me to watch the preview of this movie. I watched about 7 seconds of it before I told him to turn it off.
Before he turned it off my niece had walked into the room and I had to get in front of her to block the TV.
Why would anybody watch this untraviolent crap?

Didn't realize that I must be the epitome of gentility for your sake and the sake of the children. Especially considering we're on a fan site for a show that was partially about space hookers. Derp. Kingsman IS partially about the ridiculousness of pretending that any group of people is more refined than any other, which is a message I enjoyed. It seems to me that is why Colin Firth came back, he probably gets sick of being seen as the quintessential Victorian gentleman. He whacks off to the same porn everyone else does. And so does any Secret Agent Spy (except they have much better internet security, hopefully...) PEOPLE pretty much act like all other PEOPLE, the whole world over. So, NO...Kingsman ISN'T about refined men being suave spies. It's about people believing them to be suave men, which is their true cover.

Why do you assume anyone must be SCARED of sex ? Good grief, I'm talking about the way the issue was presented in the movie, as if " Wooo, butt sex! ", OK, I'll save the world, but anything " less " , forgetaboutit. It's patently juvenile nonsense.

Sounds like some people confuse highly refined Gieshas with sodom crack whores. Maybe that's why it's called crack, for the bung wad.
Just because Mal calls Inara a whore, doesn't mean that the vast majority of viewers weren't smart enough to see it as untrue - only the delusioned, decrepit, depraved took it as literal truth.
And Firefly was a network TV Show - not Hoetime or Skinnemax. In Primetime, not late night. The first hour of Primetime, when most kids are still up. Apart from Chinese, there's even less profanity.

Since we're on the topic of sex, doesn't anybody else find it funny that here in America we bend over backwards to keep profane language and nudity out of flicks that kids under 17 can't see, but this movie and the first one only get a rating of R?
No wonder our kids are so screwed up.
BTW... it wasn't this movie my brother tried to show me. Whatever he showed me started with the "church scene". I guess Samuel L Jackson's character doesn't make it to the end of the first one?
