Every account and report I have seen and heard has clearly stated that these people were in a Pedestrian Mall, or "Pedestrian Zone" in Spain.
No mention at all of idiots standing in the middle of the roadway waiting for road vehicles to come along so they can be outraged or offended or threatened by road traffic trafficking on roadways, like in Charlottesville.
