South Florida Firefly Fans Unite!

Hey! I am Amanda, I live in South Florida, Pompano Beach to be precise, and just read a thread here about setting up Firefly screenings for those who would want to watch episodes before watching the movie in April. I know that it is months off yet, but it never hurts to plan ahead. Maybe we could ask local Muvicos, or any other theater that would help us, or rent a hall, to show episodes of Firefly to drum up interest. Like for one Firefly fan who comes they have to bring two or more newbies with them. Some ideas might not work out, but in the words of our Captain, "We've done the impossible and that makes us mighty." We've got the movie, let's make it HUGE. So for all of those who have ideas, lets get the ball rolling to we can drum up support for the BIG DAMN MOVIE!

I used to live in the Lauderdale area but now I'm in St. Pete. My roommates and I have been having "Firefly Fridays". We have some snacks and drinks and invite friends to my house to view a couple of episodes at a time. I don't think it needs to be done in a theater, you can convert people in your own home!
