Isn't that a couple decades old, what James said back then? With validity increasing each day.

LOL. Wishy, you made me laugh!

That's a really good point though. I started imagining people just walking in circles aimlessly.

It would probably be more appropriate to label the republicans Clockwise, and the democrats Counter-Clockwise.

It doesn't matter how somebody gets back to the beginning over and over and over and over again.

I think the problem is that all politicians are garbage people.

What is somebody to do when the people who run the show are the worst humanity has to offer?

What you are really doing is complaining that voters are some of the worse humanity has to offer. From my experience in Texas, the elected politicians' values are indistinguishable from their voters' values. That might not be true where you live and that might not be obvious unless you lived in Texas and it still might not be obvious even if you did live here but you don't pay enough attention to people's real lives as they live them and how they voted. People I don't admire (call them the chickens) turn out to vote for politicians I don't admire (call them the eggs laid by the chickens). A certain kind of politician follows inevitably from a certain kind of voter. That sounds too abstract until I give an example:

I don't share the values of Pres George Bush or Sen Ted Cruz (you have heard of them, right?) but the people who voted for them do share. If you don't like those two famous Texas politicians you won't like the people who voted for them, once you really get to know them. Even the people who voted for Bush don't like Bush as much as they once did, but not because their values started to differ from Bush's. They don't like Bush because of the Iraq War. They truly loved that war up until the point when Bush was losing, then Texans slowly turned on him. But losing was inevitable because Bush went to war in the same fashion as the Texans who voted for him go about their daily lives: over confident, half assed, and learning very slowly from mistakes.

If you aren't favorably impressed with politicians, you should see the unimpressive people who voted for them.
