Buying a browncoat

Anybody bought mals duster? I have seen them from $140 to $400. I want to get one but don't want to spend a lot unless I have to. The cheaper one I guess is just a costume maybe while the expensive is an actual coat. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Avalanche just got here and what do we do? Send them off to the only other(as far as I know) active Firefly fan site...

It's a site that mostly deals with marketing now. With things we can't help him with here. They don't do updates on the new SyFy shows and they don't have a functioning chat. I hope he choses to frequent both. Thanks for going easy on me Moose

Actually, are there any other active sites? The only ones I regularly used are here and the long dead OB.

Minnesota Browncoats died early last year. To bad too, they had a great unused chat and the site was full of goodies. Most of the active sites are on facebook I think. I refuse to join facebook so that excludes me from checking them out much.
