Problem with the Reaver Poll results

Ok, in the Serenity TV pilot, Zoe says: "...and if we're very, very lucky, they'll do it in that order."

That implies that Reavers almost never "do it in that order."

So why is everyone voting for it in the polls?

It's totally obvious that Reavers desperately want to sew human skin into clothing. Would YOU want to run around naked in space?

of course you're right...
if I could have I would have voted for:
'all of the above in any order'

because I'm not sure they want to sew the flesh
more than they want to eat the flesh...

Well, obviously because we are hoping to sway them with poll results prior to them deciding on their "unbiased" action.

You may choose to infer that, but a more obvious inference to me is that, when faced with three horrible eventualities, the "lucky" order is the one in which one is alive for only the first of them.
