Hey people, part of this site is chat. More here should stop in and say hello. There are five or six here keeping it alive. Letting it die could have negative effects on the site overall.

Don't know anything about myspace or tweeter. Just know it's cool to hold a real-time conversation; friendly conversation, with other browncoats. It's hard and getting harder to do when so many here don't use it.
Hey, if people don't care it will die, so be it. I just figured we should bring the issue up amongst the sites members.

Chat has been there sleeping forever. Like Cthulhu.
I'm more concerned about the deterioration of other sections. There's been a lot of posting to REWD, but little else. And that which is in RWED doesn't really deal the way it used to with real world events, but largely about Trump. Nick and Second are anti-Trump, Sig and Kiki are pro-Trump and 6 and I are Trump-agnostics. G seems to be on the edge between anti- and agnostic and JSF between pro- and agnostic. It's balanced, okay, but it's also not really what we came here to do. It's a firefly fan site, so, things Firefly, Whedon, Sci-fi Science, Fiction and Space, is primarily why people are here.
Yes, I know, I haven't posted to the AI thread, which is ironic as an AI programmer, but I don't have anything to say about it yet. I will. But I actually want to think about it. Which is another problem with Trump stuff. None of us think, we just react. We're like rival anthills going out to beat each other over the head. It's a pointless exercise.
Chat would probably work with an arranged time, we could actually be like, in a room, in a group.
Actually, Nick, thanks for bringing this up. I think it's a good idea. We could have a firefly dinner, with no politics.

Do you have any self control dreamtrove/sockpuppet? You have been implying I am Nick. That I am some sort of sockpuppet of his. Please try and keep your paranoia in check while in general discussions.

It was so busy that I could not develop a coherent conversation, it was like everybody shouting at once.
If I didn't have limited time on the site, I might check it out again. But I always run out of time when I visit here.

It always amazes me that I'm here in Ireland talking to someone in ,America,Canada,Korea etc etc who's part of something that they "get".
