Okay I keep seeing Blue sun pop-up in Firefly, my guess is that it is some multinational Microsoft like corporation. Any input?

At the official site, www.fox.com (DAMN THEM), there is an advertisement for Blue Sun that runs like a commercial starring Kelly (from the official weblog). It was the advertisement that was playing on the vid-screen when Jayne called the Feds. It's a Coca-Cola-like product.

Yeah, but Arrow, Levi, Fruit of the Loom, Savant and other clothing manufacturers don't have their names blasted across the front of their clothes. I've never seen a t-shirt that read, FRUIT OF THE LOOM across the front in gigantic letters. Usually, it is only a small embroidery above the pocket, if even that. I have seen Coca-Cola t-shirts though, and I'm not sure what the foodstuffs are that River tore apart. Are you sure it wasn't a beverage?

What about "Nike" or "Tommy Hilfiger"... Lots of companies put their logos on shirts. Depends on the kind of company.

It's probably a company that makes a lot of different products.

As for the food stuffs, Book said "we'll have a few mystery meals..." after she tore off the labels. So I assume it was food.

Ho-HUM! Looks like I'm corrected. We know that it is a beverage (It was a beverage ad that showed on Ariel, see for yourself on the official site.) We know that it is a foodstuff (If it WAS cans of Blue Sun that River tore into. I didn't catch the labels, but I'll take your word for it.) And, it may or may not be clothing, some manufactures advertise themselves, but most do not. I'm going to really watch for Blue Sun now.

Maybe it's been said, but maybe the reason River went medeival on the Blue Sun merchandise was that it is tied to the Hands Of Blue Men. Blue Sun = Blue Hands?

Their company probably has a bunch of secret divisions that do all this human testing and such, that screwed with River's mind. The adverts for soda and clothes are just a cover. At least I'm guessing so, and hoping we'll get the chance to find out.
