Has anyone figured out tablature for the firefly theme? I'm an average guitarist and the song is a little beyond my ability to figure out. But, i'm sure i could handle it working from the music.
If anyone has stumbled across a tab or worked it out themself I would realy like to learn it.
I've learned how to play quite recognizable (and good) versions of "Dunringil" and "Wond'ring Aloud" by Jethro Tull from tablature.

I'm not good at guitar pickin'at all, so I can't help you with the solo/bridge, but would you know the chords? I'm sure there's a minor there somewhere, but I've been too busy to even look at my guitar, let alone trying to figure anything out.

For Firefly!!

I'm no Satriani, but I think from ear that the opening chord is perhaps a Gsus. That would mean the progression was Gsus/F#/F#/E/D ... just take it with a grain of salt, its only by ear.

Thanks! I'll try it out tonight. Somehow I thought that it would be simpler. You know, your typical c f g7 am country music chords? Now, you don't happen to know where I can download "The Ballad of Jayne"--the hero of Canton, do you? THAT would be a cool song to learn.

Viva Firefly!

Well, here my (very) rough go at it, based off Joss's version on the DVDs.

Am Am/G
Take my love, Take my land
D/F# Am Em
Take me where I cannot stand.
C G
I don't care, I'm still free
D/F# Am Em
You can't take the sky from me.

and so on....

Just found a few links in another thread as well:
