Wun uv the hardest thingz in life iz to not be an asshole. Its impossibl to get anything serious dun without being an asshole to sumbudy, but you haf to try to minimize the offens and weigh it agenst the benefits.
Trump iz not only too stoopid to figure that out on hiz own in 70 yirz, he iz too stoopid to understand it no matter how hard you try to explain it.

Maybe. But he's just realized ... as you still haven't .... how far the deep state extends. (see 'Vault 7') And he still has the ability to be shocked about it.

I'm not sure what your point about the Harley was anyway? Are you saying that he bought a Harley because Rush told him to only buy American, and that if he had bought a crotch rocket instead that he wouldn't have crashed it?
You're points are all over the map.
I had to check to learn if the guy who crashed his motorcycle can listen to Rush on the radio while riding. Yes, he can.
On a motorcycle, if you stop thinking about what is going on around you, you’re dead. To listen to Rush, you must turn off your brain to the outside world and go deep within the nifty story that Rush is weaving for you, his listeners. To ride a motorcycle while listening to Rush with your brain off the road traffic, with your attention somewhere other than the streets around you, is very dangerous. That motorcycle crash of the Rush Limbaugh/Trump lover happened at noon, which is prime time for Rush on KTRH NewsRadio 740 in Houston. He would not admit to listening to Rush when it happened, but who would be that honest?
Here is an example of a really good fairy tale that Rush was weaving yesterday for the benefit of Trump lovers. A perfect fantasy for crashing your motorcycle:

There is more about the Rush/Trump fan on a motorcycle. He is a family man who knows that statistics don’t apply to him. Most Rush listeners feel in their hearts that they are not average, that statistics don’t apply to them, and that their lives will work out just fine if only the government would leave them alone and let them ride their motorcycles without a helmet. In Texas, it is legal to ride without a helmet.
Facts and statistics from other people’s lost lives mean very little to him because he rides for Freedom and Making America Great. I shall tell his wife to buy life insurance on him because it is the prudent thing to do when married to a Rush ditto head on a motorcycle:
Occupant Fatality Rates By Vehicle Type 2014
Fatality rate per 100,000 registered vehicles Motorcycles 54.48, Passenger cars 9.09
Fatality rate per 100 million vehicle miles traveled Motorcycles 22.96, Passenger cars 0.85

Is there a correlation between listening to Rush on the radio and fatally crashing your car or cycle? Nobody can say because nobody knows how to collect the data from the deceased but God.

In the last two days I've heard more Rush stuff than I have in the last 2 years.
If I ever decide I want to get a motorcycle I will keep all of this in mind and make sure that I wasn't listening to Rush before I head to the Harley Shop. Thanks Second!

Quote:Not that you asked, but I've got a slightly amusing story to explain what Rush was doing with his very imaginative, even highly intelligent, defense of Trump -- this particular defense, which is a really good story: www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2017/03/07/you-better-be-applauding-donald-

My story, very different from Rush's story and not as clever, says something about who is acting nuts while defending Trump. It goes like this:
For many years, the famous Crystal Palace dinner theater in Aspen featured a cabaret song that every audience loved: “The Peanut Butter Affair.”
It told the story of a CEO who had gone to work one day, without properly washing his face, and still had a lump of peanut butter on his chin. But none of his employees dared to tell him.
When he got home, though, his wife told him it was there, and he was appalled. But he was even more appalled when he showed up for work over the next few days and eventually “every jerk from the chairman to the clerk had a lump of peanut butter on his chin.”
That spoof of underlings who witlessly mimic their bosses came to mind as I listened to Trump aides and allies justifying the president’s Saturday morning Twitter rant alleging — without any evidence — that President Barack Obama ordered Trump Tower phones be tapped during the 2016 campaign. It seemed like the whole Trump team was putting peanut butter on their chins. The only question was who had the biggest lump. (In my opinion, Rush Limbaugh does, which is why his audience is very large and very satisfied with him.)

I did not forgot the moral to the story: If our president is willing to casually throw under a bus our most elemental principles of presidential conduct — such as, you don’t accuse your predecessor of a high crime without evidence, just to divert attention away from your latest mess — we have a real problem. I am sorry to say that it is necessary to spotlight the obvious moral because Trump lovers can blindly not see such things.

I'm trying to keep an open mind Second.
I won't deny that I still like Trump. I'm no mindless peanut lump sporting sycophant though.
What I wish the left and the MSM would do right now is just tone it down a bit. What we're seeing here is information overload, and every single day we get to see another story or three with Trump making headlines. The half of the country that voted against Trump are eating up every bit of it and it's fueling their anger, and the other half of the country is either digging in their heels and fighting back or simply tuning out altogether.
I'm willing to reconsider my opinions about Trump if there are actual things of substance that he is guilty of, but I'm not going to sift through thousands of hate articles that are thrown against the wall by the left just to see what sticks.
It reeks of desperation and just solidifies his base against the other side and closes their eyes and ears and minds to any legitimate criticisms of REAL things that he does.
I keep hearing from people here how stupid Trump is. I wouldn't underestimate him. I think he knows exactly what he's doing and that you're all playing right into his hands. He waited what... 5 days after being elected to put in his bid for re-election in 2020? He's already campaigning and not spending any money doing it. You and your friends and the MSM are more powerful than any commercials that he could put on TV.

Quote:I think you are right! Bush got reelected despite the Iraq War going badly on election day in 2004. Trump will get elected in 2020 unless he has either a fiasco, snafu, or scandal bigger than Bush’s Iraq War. Maybe Trump will try doing all three (fiasco, snafu and scandal) out of boredom with running an ordinary election campaign. He craves more stimulation. The worse the crisis he creates the happier Trump is. He is addicted to drama, the opposite pole from No Drama Obama.
