So. For those of you who knew... I was married 2 weeks ago. Those of you who didn't, Hey, I was married 2 weeks ago!

Well, that was cause for celebration enough, but we just found out that after 3 months of hard work (and believe me, it was tough!) I am gunna be a Daddy!

Whoo Hoo!

Just had to share my exuberance.

Thanks for listening.

Aw!

Yay!

(Big cheesy grin)

Good 'un Deckroid! But can he resist the temptation to name the kid after a Firefly character?

(But for heaven's sake don't call him Wash! Can you imagine?)

Wash: "I shot you first! Pow!"
Kid: "No you didn't Wash!"

Every kid in the neighbourhood. Simultaneously: "Didn't wash! Didn't wash! Smelly! Eurgh!"

etc.

But! Anyway! Congratulations!

Pete

Congrats DeckRoid, kids are great.

Just do yourself a big favor, take every chance
you can get to be with them and enjoy them.

It can be shocking how fast they grow up.

I'll second Barnstormers comment. They grow up REAL fast. I had my second kid 6 months ago(seems like) now he is 4 yrs old and my daughter is 6..

I am lucky though. I was able to quit my job and be a "stay at home" dad or "Mr Mom". I love seeing my kids all the time, figure I should make the most of it now, they'll prolly move outta home in another 6 months...

Congrats Deckroid,

enjoy while you can.

P.S. my young bloke has chicken pox at the mo.. That aint fun I tell ya..

Ok, Am I the only one here has a problem with the math. Married 2 weeks but trying fo a baby three months. Hmm, that could only mean one thing- Naughty, naughty. and congratulations. I have 5 children myself. When my son, now 16, learned where babies come from he said " Ewww, that means you and Dad did IT 5 times! "

She understands, she doesn't comprehend

Have you given any thought to playing the DVD's to it while it's still in the womb.

Went to the 1st Baby Exam. Ok ok... fetus exam. Ok ok... living thing smaller than a rice grain exam.

Lasting Impressions:

1.) Glad to see the Spanish Inquisition lending tools and implements to the hospital!

2.) I always thought a 'speculum' was a Roman arena for gladitorial combat. Aint so.

That was about it. I am going to be blogging these visits. And no, I will not miss a single one. Next time we get to hear a heart beat. Faster than a hummingbirds wings, or something like that.
