I was born on British soil, but it's British soil no more.

I am now on soil where the British Union Jack flies high, but it's not over British soil.

So can you guess where I was born and where I am now?

Born on British soil.... well, you could be really really really old, and have been born before the war of independance, OR uhm... you could have been born in one of the old colonies... Or... something else.

Okay, I'll take a stab at this.

You were born in Hong Kong. That's the easy part. It's the flags that get me.

If the Union Jack flies, it might be an embassy, but I thought that was technically Bristish soil anyway. So, it's not diplomatic. Your family could just fly the flag anyway. Or you live on a boat (no soil there )

That's my two-cents worth. (that is 1 cent US)
