Also of his "interrogation" by the DPR. I can't imagine how any armed forces ... or even militarized police ... would let that video go. Did they not see and take his recording equipment?
But aside from that video, I do think that something happened there. Supposedly there was an agreement to let the troops go with their weapons, but was changed at the last minute to require that the weapons be left behind, which the Kiev troops refused (according to a Kiev commander).

If they attempted to leave with their weapons under a white flag maybe they thought they could bluff/fight their way out. If they left without their weapons under a white flag, then it was a sheer massacre, a terrible atrocity. Although there were probably Russian troops in the area, it's still not clear how much Russia was involved in that event. So it's hard to say whether ISIL and al Qaida can, or should, draw any "lessons" from Ilovaisk. Same for the remaining citizens of east Aleppo.
From what I gather FROM AL QAIDA IN EAST ALEPPO ITSELF, according to its own pronouncements, Ilovaisk isn't figuring into their tactics. They refused UN aid, and they refuse to come out - not because they think they might be shot by the Russians, but because they won't be welcome by the rest of the Aleppans.

It looks as if the second attempted terrorist* assault on the encirclement of Aleppo has failed. (Second assault in the past 3 weeks)
It's interesting to note that the assaults come from OUTSIDE Aleppo, as the terrorists IN Aleppo have run out of munitions. That explains why they can only shell the humanitarian corridors with mortars using makeshift loads.

Oh BTW, GSTRING knows how much he lied when he claimed (by "loaded question") that there was a "butcher of Debaltseve".
He also lied, over and over, when he diverted the discussion to demanding that I answer his poinltess question about a fictitious character that he himself made up.
And AGAIN, when he claimed that I was demanding "evidence" as a "dodge" ... when he knew he had had no evidence at all (because what he demanded to know about never even happened).
