These look interesting. Hacksaw only because I just saw the trailer before Mechanic.

And Girl on a Train has quite a cast. I've only seen glimpses of the trailer, but Blunt should reel me in.

I love Emily, but I've read the book so have no interest in the movie. It had been getting rave reviews, and I took a chance even though I don't typically read mystery novels. When I can figure out the culprit half way through the book it can't be that great.

I did not know about Inferno coming out 28 October, and I don't think I've read that book.
More of Hanks, plus advance viewing of Felicity Jones before her starring turn in Rogue One.
I think I'll need to watch Inferno.

Here I am going to copy part of my original post regarding November movies:
Hacksaw Ridge, 11/4: Mel Gibson's first directorial effort in more than 10 years. Andrew Garfield plays Desmond Doss, a Conscientious Objector and Army field medic who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Battle of Okinawa in WW2. Personal note: I'm a pacifist and was a Conscientious Objector too, trained as a medic at Ft. Sam Houston, but luckily never served in combat, which was surprising considering we were still involved in Vietnam at the time (1971-72).
Arrival, 11/11: Based on Ted Chiang's award-winning "Story of Your Life." Amy Adams plays a linguist recruited to attempt communication with an alien presence on Earth. Co-stars include Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. It has screened at a few festivals and received rave reviews.
La La Land, 12/2: Ryan Gosling as a jazz pianist who falls for aspiring actress Emma Stone. I'm normally not that into musicals, but I like both stars, plus Tom Hanks went off script during an interview at Telluride, where he was supposed to be promoting Sully, but instead heaped massive praise on this film.

Even though all of these interest me, the only one I know for sure I will see in the theater is Arrival.
Plus I will add a few more that pique my interest. Should you have any that excite you, please feel free to add them:
Dr. Strange, 11/4: Because I actually read the comic book during my Marvel binge in my teens. Besides, I would watch Cumberbatch read the dictionary; either him, Denzel, The Operative or Fassbender. These guys fascinate me.
Loving, 11/4: Perfect movie for our time. Based on a true American story that went all the way to the highest court in the land. You bet I'm adding this to my list, plus I like the actors in it. About an interracial marriage in 1950s Virginia. Could possibly be Oscar material.
Dog Eat Dog, 11/4: Crime drama with Cage & Dafoe playing ex-cons trying to pull off a kidnapping for a mob boss but something goes wrong and they have to run from the mob and the cops. Saw the trailer recently and it looks to be funny as well.
Shut In, 11/11: Drama/thriller - Naomi Watts trying to save a little boy during a winter storm.
Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk 11/11 - Ang Lee's film about a 19-year old soldier back from the Iraq War and what his platoon went through.
The Monster, 11/11: Horror/thriller - it's about a mother and daughter escaping from a monster on a dark and stormy night.
Elle, 11/11: Drama/thriller - this is another version of The Panic Room but without the panic room. With Isabelle Huppert
The Love Witch, 11/11: Comedy/Horror: Elaine, a beautiful young witch, is determined to find a man to love her. In her gothic Victorian apartment she makes spells and potions, and then picks up men and seduces them. However, her spells work too well, leaving her with a string of hapless victims. When she finally meets the man of her dreams, her desperation to be loved will drive her to the brink of insanity and murder.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, 11/18: The wizard world before Harry Potter.
Friend Request, 11/18: Horror - the horrors of friending on Facebook
The Edge of Seventeen, 11/18: Coming of Age - with Hailee Steinfield, Kyra Sedgwick and Woody Harrelson. This looks to be on the funny/quirky side a la Sixteen Candles.
Bleed for This, 11/18: A boxing biopic about the comeback of Vinny Pazienza.
Nocturnal Animals, 11/18: Noir Thriller - The story of an art gallery owner who is haunted by her ex-husband’s novel, a violent thriller she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale (with Amy Adams).
