There is a Gun mentality in this country that boggles the mind (no pun intended).
There are those, supposedly normal people, who think that the Men in Black are coming to get their guns. How 'sick' is that?
So imagine the really mentally unstable. I'm sorry, but those nut jobs that go off
and buy AR-15s and 100-round automatic weapons and carefully plan to shoot everyday
folk in the movie theater - well, they don't get a break from me. Death Penalty, no
getting off because you plead insanity (although it's obviously crazy to go and kill innocent men, women and children while peacefully sitting watching a movie); they were not crazy to actually plan it.
If someone's crazy, truly insane, they wouldn't be able to plan to execute people.
That takes planning. Plus the fact that they leave their apartment booby-trapped
for when the police inevitably go to search their apartment or house. How can a crazy person have the capacity to plan something like that. Nope! I don't buy the insanity plea for one minute.
If you are getting any kind of treatment for mental breakdown your name should go into a data base (no specifics, just that you may have some mental issues), and when you try to purchase a gun - XXX - No, you are on Time Out. No Gun For You! Once you have been cleared by a doctor, then here you go junior, now go play. No Medical Clearance - No Gun! Easy peasy!
As for those that think the Black helicopters are coming - PUH-lease! They're
probably the same people that think it's feasible to gather up all the illegal
immigrants and deport them. Isn't it ironic though, how the people afraid of the Black Helicopters are banking on those same helicopters to go and collect the
