In the mean time, regardless of political affiliation....

This was a legitimate song from Ren and Stimpy when I was a kid. My NON LIBERAL FUCKED UP YOUTH.....

just my single parent fucked up youth, but I'll always point out to your chargrin that my old man wanted to have Parentship of us and was always there for us unlike 94% or more of other fucks...

Anyone who is truly scared of Huxley's world like I was years later, I'd love to hear from you.

My aunt was nearly 100 years when She died.

She, or at least Her house, used to babysit John Paxon's kids.

Paxon the Bulls Threepeat White Guy, not the "Game Over" dude from Aliens and Twister.

I know it's not worth shit, but because I was the oldest child of the family, I actually have an autograph of his that she laminated for me. Now I'm like 30 going on 40 and it's still rater nice.

I was like 7 or 8 years old when she gave me "Animal Farm".

I was the oldest in my generation of spawn....

She probably only knew about me at all because I had recently won a competition in my grade school called "Accelerated Reader". Something that was awesome in gradeschool, but embarassing in junior high...

Read it.

Read Animal Farm.

Huxley's Dead

His first name was Adolph.

Read Animal Farm.

Start to Finish.

It's a short book.

No Breaks.

Oh.... You're a Disney Queen?

An aged one who nobody will just fuck because you're cute?

Best get working on the size of your brain like the rest of us who can't depend on our cute youth to make a buck.

Welcome to the rest of your life.

Let's do our best collectively to make sure it's not like THIS

You read some of the best books ever and bunched them all together.

I read 1984 when I was in my early 20s and it was the scariest book I ever read.

A year later I read Brave New World and although it wasn't close to "ideal" at least it sounded like we could be happily stupid

I was like 29 when I read Animal Farm for the first time.

I read a ton of books when I was a little kid and my admittedly rich GREAT AUNT gave me Animal Farm when I was like 8 years old. I thought it was just a Charlotte's Web rip off and never read it before she died.

It was like 21 years later that I read it during down time at work.

And it was, by far, the scariest fucking book I've ever read.

Zukkermans' Favorite Pig?

Hardly....

I do thank you for answering to reading all of those HARD CORE MIND FUCKS that were made 30 years before we were born.

I've got two other suggestions for you to indulge in.

The first is another novel.

"Jesus on Mars".

Trust me, anyone in the RWED will love it.

The other is White Christmas above all other episodes of the UK Black Mirror show.

It's like The Twilight Zone and the 90's version of The Outer Limits had a love child with Kurt Kobain and Katy Perry.

Jesus on Mars: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_on_Mars

Dude dies 7 years ago and nobody gives him a fucking birthday cake.

He made the Riverworld series. Sci-Fi tried to make something of it about 15 years ago, but didn't have a good budget or good actors and they made 4 sequels to Sharknado instead :)

That's just the way it is....

It's honestly been a while since I read a good book.

Anybody who reads Jesus on Mars or To Where Our Scattered Bodies Go, I'm more than down to reciprocate the reading.

You have no idea where I'm going with this and I promise you that my very first offering will be the very story that the original Jurassic Park should have been in the mid 90s......

And 20+ years later when a studio had that kind of fucking money they could have made the book I'm talking about and It would have FUCKING KILLED IN THE THEATRES, but they just did Jurassic Park 2 and made the T-Rex 2 feet taller with camolflage........ yawn

I'm joking. If a single one of you, Frem obviously not included, were some sort of collegate intellectuals, why not keep the College Mindless Trope going on?

It's 4 more years of fucking mindlessness.

I know I'm not talking to people who would have had a ton of fun and got fucked a lot like me.

I'm talking to all of you non lipstick lesbians and cuck males who obey the non-makeup-wearing women who don't wear makeup because you are a pawn to them.

I'm all about 4 more years of fucking mindlessness

You had any sense, you jackass, you woulda read Homage To Catalonia first, and truly comprehended what any Anarchist is willing to DO, when it really matters.

Quote:

However, the arms were distributed, and in the big towns of eastern Spain the Fascists were defeated by a huge effort, mainly of the working class, aided by some of the armed forces (Assault Guards, etc.) who had remained loyal. It was the kind of effort that could probably only be made by people who were fighting with a revolutionary intention—i.e. believed that they were fighting for something better than the status quo. In the various centres of revolt it is thought that three thousand people died in the streets in a single day. Men and women armed only with sticks of dynamite rushed across the open squares and stormed stone buildings held by trained soldiers with machine-guns. Machine-gun nests that the Fascists had placed at strategic spots were smashed by rushing taxis at them at sixty miles an hour. Even if one had heard nothing of the seizure of the land by the peasants, the setting up of local Soviets, etc., it would be hard to believe that the Anarchists and Socialists who were the backbone of the resistance were doing this kind of thing for the preservation of capitalist democracy, which especially in the Anarchist view was no more than a centralized swindling machine.

Everything, Anything.. and here your dim ass has chosen the other side.
Once you truly understand, you will realize what the truth is, the wheel itself is the sin, and to break it, for good and for all, is the goal.

And anything less than that, is just feeding the system, you cretin.

That's just it....

All of these years later, I'm still not an anarchist Frem :(

Maybe I'm being selfish.

I was fired from a part time, minimum wage job at Kmart a year and a half ago. I was "employee of the month" for over 5 months and they never bothered changing it. Supposedly I was going to be given the keys and codes to the store and be an unofficial store manager on weekends and anytime the store managers scheduled vacation.

Before that was finalized, the DM was fired. The Store manager was transferred to another store. Then I was fired.

2 weeks later my night shift manager was fired.

I actually had to "fight" for 6 months of unemployment. The new manager hated me just as much as I hated her. She told people I used to work with that "she would be damned if I got unemployment".

In the mean time, I weigh 25 lbs more now than I did working that job. I worked my f-king ass off at that job. I really liked it, even though it was minimum wage, until the "Dying Horse" removed a great store manager and replaced her with an EVIL one.

I always got a 4+ review, but never got a single nickel per hour raise in 3 years, even being employee of the month. They gave me a $25 kmart gift card as a reward, and when I looked at my check they counted that as "bonus pay" and I had to pay federal and state taxes on it, even though i could only spend that money at Kmart.... lol :) and/or :(

I know I'm an asshole Frem. :)

It's not that I didn't have access to a great role model growing up.

It's that I was raised by the other parent and unless my old man wanted to raise and possibly waste 60k in legal fees for possibly nothing, I was a kid in Illinois who automatically went to Mom.

Fast Forward years later, I'm actually hanging out with my Mom and Step Dad now. The last time we talked I don't know if I was or not.

It's cool that I get along with all of them for the most part now.

The strange thing is that even though I'm the only person in 3 generations to own their own home with cash money, and I never went to college, I always feel like I'm a fucking idiot and unworthy half the time.

I'd love to be an anarchist and just say fuck everything.

But as shitty as everything is and what little self respect I have, the one thing I do have is a completely paid for house. My monthly rent is food and gas and electric and trash/water. That's it. I have just about ZERO bills.

I'm not trying to brag. I'm just saying that i don't give a fuck about anything enough to rock that awesome boat I'm swimming in.

The only thing in my life I care enough about to fight for is my niece Elise.

What could I ever do for her?

Her mom makes 6 figures a year and her dad (my awesome brother who was a founder of the 76 back in the day) spends every waking second with her.

I'm a worthless piece of shit Frem.

I worked something out with my uncle lawyer so half of my money/house goes to her college and the other half goes to my "disabled" brother who my dad fucking saved. If we're going to talk about something happy, my brother's story would be it. I've never seen him so... i won't say happy, but care free, in his life.

He finally got the SSI and lives in section 8 housing near peoria. He spends most of his free time going to church, doing volunteer work and doing photography. In the spring he plans on launching a non-profit photography group through the church to teach others what he learned in college about the actual photography and how to digitally manipulate the images when you get home.

I probably am a fucking idiot Frem. I have a negative circle of influence, if anything. I can not change a single mind about anything.

Any positives I have ever accomplished in my life have largely been negated by my obvious flaws in my middle-life.

I know I'm easly 115 IQ or above, although I don't have physi

Not half as close as you think, but damn closer than is comfortable, sure.
Neither side actually wants such a confrontation, so it's all mostly dick-waving and puffed up threats, by people too damn stupid to know how fast that can go badly wrong - obviously they've not read a lot of David Drakes work...

And now that you too, have a little princess to watch over, now and only now, you begin to truly comprehend what fear, real fear, tastes like - and guilt, as a side dish, for they will grow up in the world we helped create.

It's almost pathetic that your primary saving grace in this is your own ignorance, cause for the most part you didn't mean to help drive things to where they are, you just didn't know any better.

I don't even have that excuse, for in my time, way back in the days of yore when I worked for the powers-that-be, I knew damn well what I was doing, and didn't fucking care - imagine THAT shit hanging over your head in the wee hours of the morning haunting your ass... I'd say you got off lucky.

About all we can do at this point, is do our very best not to inflict our own prejudices and stupidity upon them, because kids learn that shit from us, whether we mean to teach it or not.. heaven knows I've made great strides already in not teaching her grades of profanity rarely seen outside the Navy...

But I really gotta get back to things, and likely won't be back here any time soon, tons of shit to do and never half enough time to do it in - I really oughta be monitoring disaster relief efforts in Florida right now, but all our on-site people are asleep, and all my telepresence rig can see right now is somebodys fekkin ceiling...

Hi Frem

It's good to see you around.

If only we knew then what we know now.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!
