Haley is the only reason I'll check out Conviction, but most of my viewing this year will be on Hulu, except for Jane and Elementary, since Hulu won't be offering any CW or CBS shows.

Elementary season starts tonight, right?

Less formulaic than some.

The Bull (starring the Original Mr. Jessica Alba) second episode was pre-empted for me locally, some local show on.

Yes. I'll be watching live tonight unless I'm reading and lose track of time. Or watching Luke Cage and forget.

I watch them on CBS online, I rarely even turn the actual tv on. The kiddo watches stuff on PBS and that's it.

Timeless does look interesting enough for me to check out.
And Frequency looks like a bit of sci-fi, at least in the concept.

I enjoyed the movie, so I'll give Frequency a shot.

Looks like Time Travel is "the" thing this season.
Along with Frequency and Timeless, there's also Time After Time and the comedy Making History.

I was thinking Frequency was a bit techno - sharing a bit with White Noise, and the Forest Whittaker bit in Phenomenon. And Nathan was in White Noise 2. In theory these might have commonality with The Ring, but the vibe was waaay different.

Anybody else watch it?

I did enjoy it, but the ending (and set-up for future episodes)

Select to view spoiler:

seemed a bit like Quantum Leap - they might try to get back to the original timeline. Some movies have done that, like Sound of Thunder or Butterfly Effect, but they didn't have 26 installments per year.

Speaking of time travel flicks, I generally try to avoid them. Save , of course, for Dr Who. I love how they have 'fixed points 'in time, which simply cannot be altered. It avoids certain Grandfather scenarios, which almost always end poorly.
