So I thought it might be neat to have a deck of cards to play Tall Card (Tall Card being the game Book, Simon, and Jayne were playing in the episode 'Shindig') so I decided to make my own :)

They're for anyone's use and I'd take it as a kindness as to credit myself if you do use them. I spent a lot of time on them and I'm pretty proud of the outcome.

but maybe the rules of the game should be included so I'd know what each card means

Yay! First post! First off, I really liked Stephani's images. Kudos. They look great and don't take up a ton of printer ink. The downside was that the card images weren't provided in an easy to print layout. I got Stephani's permission, and I have made the layouts I created to print them for myself available.

I also included a rules sheet that I made. I am an avid fan of regular poker, so I spelled everything out for Draw Poker and how the unique Tall Card rules work (based on what was on the firefly wiki). It's not really "official", but until Jane Espenson provides us with her original rules, these are as good as it will get methinks.

Just a quick note, I have uploaded a revised version of the Tall Card set. Included in the new version are:

-Updated Rules Sheet: it more closely follows what was shown in the actual episode

-Updated Images: Due to overwhelming criticisms within my own gaming group, I decided to replace the "Unicorn" face card with the "White Tiger" face card, since the White Tiger more accurately represents the four Chinese celestial bodies. I also increased the quality of some of the other images
