Anyone else have a turntable? If you're older, do you have an old one or have you reacquired one? If younger, have you caught the nostalgia bug for the vintage sound?

I listed some LPs on Ebay last night, most in pretty good condition. Unfortunately, one that might have been considered truly collectible has already sold, a Pink Floyd album. Probably should have put a higher price on it, but I do want these to sell. Buy It Now, not auction, and free shipping. Sometime today I will list the few CDs I still have, plus some DVDs, and I'll try to package multiple items together if at all possible.

For those not familiar with me, this is not a spam post. I've done the same other times I've had items listed, just as a way to get people to check out my stuff. I've been a Browncoat from the very beginning, watching "The Train Job" when it was broadcast on Sep.20, 2002. I joined up here right after the DVDs were released, early '04. Even though I like Jayne Cobb, I'm not one of the "bad guys."

Thanks, man. Not sure I deserve such high praise, but I'll try to live up to it.

BTW, if anyone has checked out my listings, there's a bit of a problem that I'm trying to correct. This is the first time I've done "Buy It Now" in a long time, and it's also been over a year since I've tried to sell anything. They've made some changes I guess. I usually use auction mode with a 7 day time frame. My first listing posted as with a 7 day window, but for some reason, all the others I've checked so far were for 30 days, and they also posted with a "Or Best Offer" notice. I didn't want that, and hopefully I can change that on all of them as soon as possible.

On second thought, I may just leave things as they are. Four items have sold already, and maybe I'll be lucky with some of the others long before 30 days go by. I'm mainly trying to recoup some of the expenses I incurred last month when I went to MidAmeriCon2, the World SF Convention in Kansas City. I'm not that desperate, so I guess I can wait longer than usual.

I like music, so I don't have any vinyl Pink Floyd, at least that I know of.

I have a few others, but I don't think they're in very good shape, haven't had the time to check them. I sold Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, both in very good condition, several years ago.
