Just watched In Bruges.
Good movie, but I dont get why its considered a comedy. More like Drama to me.
Most good moviez will hav sum funny stuff, drama and action in them, so it can be difficult to classify sumthing thats too low key on everything.

I dont do drugz or drink alkahol, so didnt find anything in it funny enuf for an actual laf.
Watched UHF last nite. Its exactly wut youd expect from Weird Al Yankovich - a scatter brained collectuion uv uninspired spoofs loosely held together by a predictable plot. Forgettable.
And I did forget it! I saw it probably around 2000, but only felt vague familiarity a few timez wile watching it this time.

Michael - as long as you're willing to think of it as a comedy. Travolting, Jean Stapleton, Andie McDowell, William Hurt, Bob Hoskins, Robert Pastorelli, Joey Lauren Adams.
Mom and Dad Save the World - not much high-brow humor, but I laughed a lot. Eric Idle, Dwier Brown, Kathy Ireland, Jon Lovitz, Teri Garr, Jeffrey Jones.
Hot Fuzz - similar humor style to Shaun of the Dead, but I thought better.
Hero - Chevy Chase, Geena Davis. I consider it very funny, but it is a cynical dry humor, not slapstick.
I once saw a film with I think John Cleese, but cannot recall the name or identify it with imdb. It seemed like 80's vintage, and he played I think a principal or headmaster who was about the countryside and was having a very bad day, nothing went right. Anybody know what film I'm talking about? I felt it was my favorite British humor work of the time.

I just thought of a film that I have to add to
my list:
Airplane
but to really enjoy it you had to have seen all
of the airport disaster movies of the '70's. I'm
showing my age.
