I'll start with:

Good call, I don't think this thread has ever been explored before.
The first movie that comes to mind, that busted my gut, The Return of the
Pink Panther, Peter Sellers is too much in that movie.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - first time I saw it, I was on the floor; especially during the "fastest sled" scene breaking all land speed
records.
Some Like It Hot - no explanation needed.
Mister Roberts, Beetlejuice, Raising Arizona, Room Service (Marx Brothers),
Snatch...............just from the top of my head. Ya know, it's funny how when you try to make a list of your favorites, you sometimes come up empty.
Oh! almost forgot........Going Places (1974) Dramedy-Buddy French film.

Right you are ThGRRI
Good picks all, especially My Cousin Vinny, plus As Good As It Gets is one of my favorites. That's what I mean by, when pressed, it's hard to come up with a great list. Thanks for reminding me about some truly great & funny
films.

I'll haf to woc sum uv thoze.
The movie that made me laf the most wuz Airplane! but the last few timez I watched it, it wuz flat. I think seeing it too many timez plus getting older compounded by The Simpsonz and Family Guy raizing the bar ruined it. Same with Police Squad, the show & moviez by the Zucker brotherz & Abramz.
Still haf to credit it with funniest, kuz me & many otherz in the theater wen it came out wer literally falling out uv our chairz!
Comedyz that still hold up even after many viewingz are:
Bedazzled (the 1998 version)
The Big Lebowski
Kingpin
The Austin Powerz trilojy iz pretty good.

Canadian Bacon - particularly if you like Canadian humor, or Americans laughing about Canadians. Like Strange Brew without drugs.
So I Married An Axe-Murderer. Mike Meyers playing his dad killed me.
Galaxy Quest
The Adventures of Ford Fairlane

Now, with the passing of Gene Wilder, I'm ashamed to admit that I completely forgot about Stir Crazy. There are so many good ones.

You all MUST see "Cold Turkey", it was made way back in 1971 but is gut busting funny. Also "Dodgeball" (The directors cut) with Alan is a gem.
