The one on the Universal tour was the one on the flatbed truck armature. They had at LEAST one more for the close in shots of the BDHs climbing in to get to the heist and for the shot of Zoe parking it.
There might have been another for the barn swallow scene.
Anyway, the one on the armature and the one taken on premiere tours are different ones.
Regardless, it doesn't belong in the trash!
I'm 99% sure it wasn't p-shopped. The shadows match and pixel densities match + the angle would have had to have been almost on the floor and then flipped - an odd one.
Interesting thrusters? protruding from underneath - don't see those on the other photos.

Could it possibly have been someone trying to build a replica? And then running out of time, money, resources, having to move or simply giving up?

Does one of the episodes address the where abouts of the mule ?
Or are you pointing out that The Signal is itself now on the junk pile ?
Only podcast I really followed, or tried to follow.

They said this season was it for them so when I came across the link accidently, I decided to throw it onto a discussion and see if something sticks. I guess it did.

We need more than one source to confirm or deny.
Agreed. No doubt there was more than one mule and even if there is still one on the Universal tour, this could be one that was unwanted or got tossed without the proper notice.
none of this could happen without proper notice. It's not like it is 75 copies of THE FILM Serenity, getting destroyed, and they claim it was "an accident" that they sent it to be destroyed.

We need confirmation one way or the other. Hopefully Eternal will come back, if not we may need to reach out to Akin and the Ariel Ambulance people. Stands to reason if the Mule is in a scrap yard it may have wound up in the same one as the ambulance or one close by.
