Blue Sun Logo....

Ive seen two different versions of it, the one that was on the FOX site, and annother with a different character fr hte word "Blue" in chinese.

Are these both official??

If people only beleive wahts in a movie, their damn well sure beleiving Serenity.

Yeah... I guess you could say that they're both official. The original one, seen in "Serenity" and on Jayne's shirt in various episodes, reads 青日 (qing1 ri4). The one FOX posted, which I think is also in a later episode or two (?), reads 蓝日 (lan2 ri4). Qing1 seems more... appropriate... usage for this instance. More than you wanted to know?

actually to use the word blue, in chinese.

it should be 蓝日.

But you could consider 綠日.

綠 is sometimes used for the colour blue or a shade of blue that is near green.

But 青 is definately off, because it is GREEN!

yet the most appropriate is 蓝 because there is no way you can read it other than blue.

Blue Sun should be 蓝日.

Thats my 2 cents.

Not true. 青 can also mean blue and can be used as such as an adjective in situations like "blue sky" and "blue sun". (蓝 can also mean indigo.)

But anyway, the original question was "which is official?" and both logos were used. If you want an "official" Jayne shirt, you'd use 青. If you want an "official" FOX shirt (though I'm not sure why you would), you'd use 蓝.

I kind of like the look of the "Fox" logo more, and its hte one that appears in the bluesun commercial Joss made, so Ill try and get a shirt like that.
