I didn't think it was as good as Winter Soldier, or even The First Avenger, but then again, I rarely agree with the consensus.

All I can say is, if you don't think this is the best yet, then you're not paying attention. It speaks back to The First Avenger, has hilarious moments, and ,imo, mirrors the discussion about security vs freedom that's been going on for some time in this country.

And I love, love LOVE Steve Roger's stance on principle. I was afraid it would come off completely artificial, but it doesn't. I got it, though I can see how others might not.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

I'm not obligated to agree with you, and I don't, but it's not because I wasn't paying attention.

It's one thing to stand on principle (which I assume all of them were), but another thing entirely to do so at the expense of harming many others in the process.

With great power comes great responsibility. Hardly any of them were acting responsibly.

I thought it was great. I understood both sides of the argument and I can make a case for either of them. I think I would side with Ironman personally. That's the only way to deescalate the situation.

Anyway the execution of the whole film was done really well. The dialog was pretty good. Not nearly as forced as Avengers 2. The fight scenes were well choreographed and felt really brutal.

I left wanting more. More Ironman. More Cap. More Spider-man. More Black Panther. More Ant Man. Take my money!
