I haven't noticed anything. Personally I post legitimate gripes about a show I really like. It's not a perfect show. If someone interprets this as "sabotaging the show" then that's just your paranoia kicking in. ;)

I am pretty up set with how this whole thing turned out, and with human nature in general.

I can't stay here any longer. It would be against what I belive in, free speech, censorship, mob rule and what not.

So this is goodbye, Haken feel free to delete my login, etc.

I have enjoyed what people had to say here; your opinions, your insights. Haken and others did a great job with the site and I hope the show gets picked up by another network or FOX changes its mind. Anyway I am sorry I can't stay and be apart of this site anymore...principles and all prevent me.

P.S. FWIW, XED's 4 posts should have been 1 article, which I would have gladly posted as such.

If my posts upset you folks, please allow me to apologize. The early episodes of Firefly had some big problems. After the first 4 or 5 episodes, the show became outstanding. Absolutely first-rate. And I think I've said that.
If it would help smooth things over, feel free to delete my log-in.
I still don't think Firefly was perfect, and I still think the first 3 or 4 episodes had serious problems. The first two episodes in particular struck as just plain poor TV, particularly "Bushwhacked." I also still think the show was the best thing on TV until the troglodytes at Fox yanked it.
As for making those 4 posts into one article...well, some folks already have problems with the length of my posts.

I think you misunderstood what I said. I said you should have combined the 4 and submitted it to me as a feature article, which I will then post for you as a Feature Article on the website.

As far as I'm concerned, you make some valid points in your post, which I admit I do agree with to a certain degree, just as there are others that I don't.

In any case, again, as is with Hook, I hope you'll re-join us here one day if you do decide to leave.

Hook, if I may speak bluntly... I think you're over-reacting.

No one has been censored, free speech has not been impeded, etc. Any feelings of such activity are completely imagined on your part. In fact, it seems to me that you are leaving based on disagreement with others' opinions... which is fine, but if this is true, you have no right to judge anyone here.

You may be upset at this point, but please don't judge these forums based on acts that haven't been committed. It's an offense to Haken and all of the forum members.

I have to agree with you on this one Haken.

I think Xed made some valid points, though the format was hard to follow as his paragraph structure was lacking.

Personally, I hope he stays. I don't post here a lot, but I have been here longer than any of the other sites that I am now affiliated with.

Hey,

I never met for this post to cause so much reaction that I wasn't hoping for. I simply enjoy Firefly and see a whole lot of topics we could discuss.

I want info on helping to save the show and don't mind other's opinions on this show or why it failed as long as it is done with thought. Never wanted anyone to be censored or other people p.o.ed to the point they say they will leave. All I was saying is what some others have said here, make your post in a clear manner and have accurate facts then lets discuss.

The whole "This is Firefly country Gorramit!" was stating what my whole post was about. I was glad to see the FOX board members getting on board because a lot of these people have some very good thoughts on the whole dynamic of the show. I would like to see more talk of the episodes and characters.

I agree we need info on helping Joss find a new home but even this gets spread out to more than one thread. Lets be honest, most people come to the (or a) site and look at the recent posts. When half the threads are about saving the show and the other half are why it failed nobody digs any further so the actual show is not talked about and anyone who recently found it and are looking for more info run away.

Like I said, I just wanted to get more discussion about the eps. The FOX board sucks so I only check it out once a week or so and that is why I was hoping we could get more episode threads going here in an easy to locate fashion.

Can't we get along in some reasonable fashion?
