Firefly Reference in "Blindspot"!

If you haven't seen the new series Blindspot, you should give it a go... it's not perfect by any means, but my favourite character so far became my solid favourite when (referring to her boyfriend) she uttered the words... "his Firefly DVDs are there in my flat" or words to that effect without giving any spoilers!
I love that we are constantly getting references in other shows these days!

I actually thought that, too... but my boyfriend said I always thought everything was related back to Firefly... which is only because everything IS related back to Firefly!

Are you referring to the primary character as your favorite? Or another character?
I only caught partial arcs of the show. Other than the pilot, it seems to always be up against another show. But I didn't understand that she had a boyfriend. Is this before her fugue, or building relationship after her amnesia?

She probably threw the Firefly reference in there herself. She's worked with Joss before on Avengers and Much Ado About Nothing.
