I've started work on the first draft of my Serenity 2 (which I hope to finish before next year) and I want to write this as if this were hypothetically a legit movie. The first thing I want to write is pretty much the Mutang Enemy mascot singing the Universal Studios anthem before it fades to black. Then the actual Mutant Enemy logo appears with the opening theme of the movie playing in the background before the movie starts. Opinions?

Forget Mutant Enemy. It did make "Firefly: Serenity (#1.11)" (2002), but not the movie Serenity. It's just a production company logo for a company that might not make your movie.

If you could make your Serenity 2 start back on Earth, then you could do the same trick used in Serenity 1 and other movies: modify the Universal Studios logo.
