And it's still too soon...
All I could think of when I saw how they impaled that guy on that tree was that it was very Wash-like.

Haven't seen it yet, but if you think it was, it probably was.
When I saw The Martian on Sunday, I couldn't help but think FF when he leans into the camera and calls himself a space pirate. And that wasn't even a reference of any kind.
Probably always going to think it, though...
