Okay, troops…this will be my last post for a while; heading into the hospital at oh-dark-thirty tomorrow for a hip joint replacement…don't know how long I'll be there. Hope somebody can keep bumping the thread while I'm gone.

Never thought I'd be home so soon.
Keep hearing about these 'pain and torture' (physical therapy) folk but haven't seen hide nor hair. Because we live so far out in the country, they'll be bringing their special 'Niska' brand of devices out to our house. Have to get the dogs school in 'attack' mode!!

So I'm getting around the house just fine on the walker….stairs are still interesting. Supposed to have some therapy providers call and come out today. Husband will not allow me with a walker on our gravel drive…a bit too terrifying I guess.

Happy Hump Day!
Supposedly the Physical Therapy people will be here today….seven days after hip replacement therapy. Now, I'd been told that P.T. would be VITAL to my recovery and would start THE NIGHT OF SURGERY…nope, no P.T. folk there… they showed up a day later. I was told the home care p.T. would be CRITICAL to recovery,…and would start immediately upon my return home..nope…that would be today (if they actually show up!)…getting a bit strange.
