This is effectively the end of the first part of my series. The second part begins with a tremendous amount of angst that continues through the rest of the stories in my series.
I don't know when I will start posting, I want to make sure I have all of the stories nearly completed before I do.
There will be content warnings wherever I can put them without giving away what is going to happen.
Thanks for reading thus far and don't be too upset when you read the first chapter of the next story. Let the rest of the series play out to its end, you may be surprised (or not) where it leads.

Everyone was talking quietly when Mal finally entered the galley from the crew bunks, noting that everyone was already there. Even Simon and Kaylee, who had been notoriously late for the morning meal for weeks. They talked quietly, pausing only briefly to nod to the Captain as he spooned some flavored protein into a bowl.
Not more than a few minutes later, Inara arrived from the opposite direction, looking none too rested but muc
Exciting. I await more. I'm not particularly coherent at the moment, so I'll just tell you that I love it. Am a little worried/anticipatory. That's normal.
Finally someone says it! You just can't keep secrets on a firefly hehe. love this installment--games are so fun! Looking forward to the angst too.

LOL
Inara's confession shocked me a little, well done.

>bring on the angst
It's the very next thing . . . :)
All of you people begging for it and wanting it so badly had better not be too unhappy when you actually GET it!
>Am a little worried/anticipatory.
I'm a little worried how you are going to take the next chapter too.
I, unlike everyone else, am not looking forward to the angst. I like my nice shiny characters just as they are, but you know I am powerless to resist one of your great stories. Just ease us into it, please? Pretty please?
I know, I'm asking for too much! I'll just have to brace myself.
I can't explain it... maybe it's Joss' fascination with hurting the main characters of all his shows. It must be starting to rub off on me.
For the record.... picturing Mal's eyes snap open as realisation hits was ROTFLMAO funny!
Probably will want to rail on ya for the upcoming angst, but...I have faith it will be meaningful and well-written. Plus I wanna see if Inara was yanking Mal's chain about having a little one running around;)
BEB
this game was really cute, and i love that both women told them men while they were REALLY drunk.
I love fic with the whole group were they actually stay in there character. It's more than I can do.
“Admission is the first step to recovery, Sir.” Zoe directed her comment at the table for fear of busting a gut laughing if she looked at the expression on Mal’s face.
WOAH! @ the Kaylee/Inara kiss.
Well, yay for the spin the bottle drinking game altogether.
