“Going to break the proper behavior right out of you,” was the voice that penetrated the exhaustive fog that surrounded his mind.
Simon yawned and shifted against the warm body pressed intimately next to him. The activities of the previous day and evening came back to him in a rush and his eyes snapped open to find a bright-eyed Kaylee smiling at him.
“Ah – good morning.” He silently cursed his inability to come up with anything else. It sounded so dumb to his ears.
“Oh yeah,” Kaylee pressed herself against him and kissed his cheek. “Very good.”
He couldn’t help but smile at the completely content look on her face. Had he been the cause of that? He slid the hand currently wrapped around her shoulder into her hair and pulled her toward him to give her a proper good morning kiss.
Kaylee hesitated, a playful look in her eyes. “Oh, I dunno doctor Tam, you’re not bein’ very proper this mornin’”
Simon laughed. “And what is the definition of proper in your mind, Kaylee?” he glanced down at them, at the sheet barely covering their naked flesh. He was suddenly afraid to hear her answer when her eyes glowed with a predatory gleam.
“Somethin’ I don’t want you to ever bring to our bed.” Before he could answer she leaned forward and fastened her mouth to his, kissing him in such a way that his very toes curled.
