Halloween 2005: Inara and Mal

My wife and I dressed as Inara and Mal for Halloween this year. After taking a few photos, I added a desert background to one of them. The costumes aren't detail-accurate, but meant to give the general impression.

HAH! it's a small internet world! I used the same background for my halloween costume. I'll post a link to a picture so I don't hijack your picture thread.
Incidently we also had a married couple go as Mal and Inara to the premier :)

How adorable! Your wife looks so glamorous and I can totally tell who you two are supposed to be, being a fan and all. Also, that is one nice jacket you have on!

Hi, all. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I was Captain Loosepants. But I wanted to make do with what I had on hand and not buy anything extra... all I had to buy were the suspenders. Maybe next year I'll go for the tighter pants.
My "browncoat" is a Driza-Bone long riding coat that I got on my honeymoon. http://www.drizabone.com.au/
I love it, had it for years.
My father-in-law knew who we were supposed to be, but that's about it. We didn't see any fans.
