Serenity’s Heart

Part 2

We all grow up with the weight of history on us. Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains as they do in the spiraling chains of knowledge hidden in every cell of our bodies.

The tears flowed freely from Kaylee’s eyes down her cheeks. She was laying in her hammock in the engine room and had been every since she ran from the mass hall. “Ow!” Kaylee said as Mal helped her up off the floor. She knew she was going to have to have a big bruise the next day.

The story is pretty cool but I do wish you would either get a beta to correct the spelling mistakes or read the story through before posting it. It will make a good story even shinier! Ali D :~)

i agree with Ambodell. you have a really good concept and the paragraphs themselves are very well structured, but there are some serious problems with tenses and plurals and words being missing. For example, instead of saying "before they realize what had happen..." it should say "before they realized what had happened..."
my advice is to read through your work and be sure that it makes sense, and maybe get a friend or something to go through it and fix any mistakes you might have accidently made.
i look forward to reading more from you, and to more chapters in this tale.
