tut-tut, don`t youknow, that`s the world famous Wash`o`saurus that 1st appeared at tyhe Serenity Con in London Earlier this year, it had Alan Tudyk in disbelieve as Wash riding on a Dinosaur went waddling in to the fancy dress parade/competetion (needless to say, it won the admiratioon of the cast, the fans & indeed won othe competetion - Welldone to Clare Ramsey who created the whole thing!)

Hi there,

It was great to see you guys in Birmingham. I loved the TV and the current comic series and it's great to see the movie being so well cared for! I was just able to squeeze through the crowd to grab one of the terrific Kaylee postcards and a book of matches which friends are currently asking about. Is there somewhere we can get some more of this stuff? Also, I'm lecturing in design at university and the new term will start just in time for the movie! I'd love to drop some promotional stuff about the studio and noticeboards!

How do we get in on this spreading-the-word mallarkey?!

The girl on the dinosaur is Scramsey. The BDHs know her very well and love her fancy dress work. Nathan calls her his hero! The Washasaurus won the costume parade at Starfury Serenity. Alan Tudyk was stunned into silence at the site of Wash riding a dinosaur into the hall! Its worth saying that she built the costume from scratch. She is now working professionally in FX makeup.

Not only is she a hottie, I think she's also insightful and well-spoken in the Starfury convention clip (wearing the cowboy hat).

And speaking of that clip, ever since I heard her speak, I've been wondering what part of UK her particular accent comes from. It sounds somewhat Irish, a little Scottish... I dunno, something different than your various run-of-the-mill Londoner accents. (But I'm Stateside born and raised, what do I know.) I'd take it as a kindness if somebody can identify her accent's general locale.
